I can't get over how amazing Novigrad looks. And I'm really liking the King's design, I initially thought he looked too much like Sauron, but he looks fantastic.

I do have to question the PR logic behind showing a 4 second trailer after some 4 minutes of leaked footage have been around for a while and after a 40 minute demo was shown to journalists a semester ago.

4 seconds vs 4 minutes vs 40 minutes.

As for the rest, I'm confident CDprojekt will be able to escape the gravitational pull of the cliché.

Im almost sure its in game, you can see the models dont have as many polygons as in CGI, and the aliasing, the fire effects, etc

The trailer was short, but boy - the detail of everything, the animations, the physics in action during combat, the scale of Novigrad, the beautiful countryside like TW1... Once again CDPR shatter expectations like it's nothing.

Yes, Novigrad is amazing. I think I'll spend majority my time there. In general, it was worth the wait. Short but sweet.

For those of you worrying about Geralt turning into a hero that is going to save the world from the evil grasps of the Wild Hunt, don't worry. I'm pretty sure we can trust CDP enough to know that they won't turn Geralt into something he isn't. We won't be saving shit, unless we absolutely need to do so in order to reach our "loved ones".

Of course, saving one could mean saving the other...
