I can almost guarantee there is no lighting fix. they changed lighting originally because of compatibility with consoles. I'll find the article and post it here.
Ok so here's a frustration of mine. Us 'peasants' aren't allowed to heckle, however those that are all about the game and praise CDPR like Gods - are allowed and MODs are allowed to join in?

Well...it's a matter of PR.
Maybe people expected a game capable of push forward the graphic standards, and not a console port with the same IQ of the PS4 version.
And, honestly...it doesn't seem smart either to ruin the relationship with your PC fan base when you have a PC centric digital store.
My last hope is that maybe they will put more effort in the PC version after the premier release...but I would not count on that.
Watching the stream, yeah. You could say that the downgrade is confirmed. I hope the characters, story and gameplay are at least good....

Beside speaking only german, which makes them far less appealing to an international audience, they must have the worst pacing I've seen in a while.
They spent 20 minutes walking back and forth on the freaking balcony, failed the tutorial twice, paused the game several times and now they are spending the last 20 minutes just playing the card game and not showing off anything.

After watch the stream, here is my conclusion : "i am disappoint"

And even the water physic in the puddle is gone.
but the sad things is that...they had that tech. I'm really curious...why put that off in the PC version?
Glad that got settled once and for all. Day one patch didn't do anything like we said and downgrade is real. Now we can either play it or not... Thats up to everyone I supposed but the main thing is what CDPR is going to say Monday/Tuesday depending on release times etc?
After watching the streaming: I'm absolutely, positively well impressed with the game.
An open world RPG with this gargantuan size and with this level of detail, diversity and cosmetic luxury is something I couldn't even dream barely few years ago.
It looks stunning and it seems engaging.
Are there features which have been toned down from the initial reveal? Yeah, most likely, as it typically happens in most big productions aiming for the starts.
Would I complain about what I'm getting? Hell no.
Find me any other open world RPG that comes even close to this.
Comes back to If you pre-ordered. and you hate it. cancel it. at least you had 1 day preview before the game released. Wait for some mods / ini configs (hopefully) saves it on some aspect / or get it 50% in a sale.

I mean...the particles effects and the fire is way worse than before...

And that's just about the visuals, because if we are going into game design I'd count Skyrim (or any Bethesda RPGs) as one of the lowest points in the genre when it comes to mechanics.

Yea, it's a weird PR decision to let them be the first stream of the finished PC version. Not only is it in German, but they said that international viewers ruin their stream and they wish that they would just go away. A bunch of the German folks in chat are also very hostile towards English speaking people. I'm from Germany, but I can't stand this stream. I'll wait for a more professional stream.
Console Parity and Im guessing trying to maintain a steady 60fps at all times is the main reason.
Now I did not call you any names or anything. See... This is what I don't get... people that disagree with the quality of the game, call someone a name or get uncivilized. Ban / delete / silenced.
People that praise the game say nothing but good things about the graphics. They still are around. Odd?

I know the game will look georgeous, i know the graphic is stunning. I dont doubt that CDPR did a great work.
I just disappoint that PC gamer only get a little love, a 700$ GPU has same graphic with 400$ console? with only differrence in 60/30 fps and hairworks that make dip your fps. ? thats it? Really?
