umm wheres the manual?

so i kept hearing this games great but had tons of bugs and problems. Suposedly the Enhanced edition which came out a while back fixed this, and i saw it in the store for 40 bucks today so i said what the hell and grabbed itthing is im kinda confused. Usually when something says its an enhanced special edition you get a pretty detailed manual with it. Well, i must be blind because i see no manual whatsoever. I see a walkthrough guide that gives spoilers for all the quests, but absolutely nothing on how to actually play the game, what the controls are, how the dialog/combat works, nothing. Theres a little mini story and a map, and thats it. Wheres the manual? is it a pdf on one of the disks or something? i kinda dont wanna jump into a suposedly deep rpg without any kinda manual

The veary first part of the game is a tutorial so it also gives you a veary good idea on how to play the game as well use items

in game tutorial dont cut it for an rpg as big as this one. I was expecting something as in depth or better than, say morrowinds, or oblivions. do you know what disk has it? theres like 5 of them in there.. very weird they didn't include one

Sadly, the days when computer games came with printed thick manuals that not only explain how to play the game but also background information are over, it seems... :(

The "Making of" DVD gives you plenty of background information or the beautiful printed artbook, which doesn't have merely pictures but also information on the creation of the beasts and eventually some technical info ;)

Normally, you can right click on the DVD while it is in your DVD-drive and open the manual from there. That's what I've done.I alsp played the demo when it first came out; it gave me a very good sense of how the combat worked. (still having a bit of trouble, though).

Manuals are kind of obsolete and waste paper, imo. When you can just put it directly on the disk, there's no reason to chop down another tree. But, I guess if you really need to have a hard copy, you could just print it. :dead:

Different regions have different packaging. I bought the US version, which has all the nice stuff BUT the manual.

Here in the US, we did get the nice things with the EE. However, we don't have any paper manual. It is on the disk :)
