Unable to play vs friend

So I installed open beta through gog galaxy and added a friend. We wanted to play but when he invited me nothing happened so I tried and you can see on the screen shot what it said. My gog galaxy is obviously turned on. Any Idea how to fix it?

Got the same problem, tried everything, doesn't work. Also can't buy kegs for the same reason.
