Unable to use Cross Progression Save (Xbox One, V 4.04, Complete Edition)

I have tried every single guide to try and get my Xbox One save of the Witcher 3 Complete Edition to save for cross platform play as I have just bought a new PS5. When I try to access everything from the CDPR/GOG side it says I do not have the game (even though I have connected my CDPR/GOG account to my Xbox account). My Xbox One has The Witcher III - The Wild Hunt - Complete Edition with a completed game save I want to port over for the new DLC. The Xbox game keeps throwing the error that it is unable to connect to the internet when I try to access the My Rewards tab in the menu. I have reset my console, tried to access via the in game save menu, reset my internet connection, and tried every option I have found online for both the Xbox One and CDPR/GOG side.

Hi,
Just to be sure, you have the same version of the game (complete edition) on both, your Xbox One and PS5?
Then, to be sure, take a look on the support page about cross progression:
- XBOX - How to use cross progression
- Playstation - How to use cross progression
If you can't your GOG account in the game, I suggest to directly contact the support ("contact us" button). There is no dedicated section, but this one should be fine.

I have the exact same issue, have complete games on Xbox, tried to set up cross progression via 'My Rewards' and immediately it throws 'unable to connect to backend services'. I restarted xbox even uninstalled and re-installed the game (so I know the network is working fine). So on the xbox it doesn't work but on my PS5 I open the game go to My Rewards and it does connect but this doesn't do any good because my Xbox (where the saved games are) can't register.

Also fwiw there is no 'button for cross Cross Progression' on the LOAD GAME menu either on Xbox.

Yes, the game is returning a net error on XBOX (for everyone I assume).
There is nothing you can do by your own to fix it. The best to do, it's to directly reach CDPR support "contact us" button.

Just FYI, I tried this again today and the backend error did not happen on XBOX. May have been a transient issue or they saw and fixed it. Yay!
