The binkw32.dll file is often used by other games too, backup the one in witcher and replace it with the one from another game and see if it works the one in witcher is version 1.8s (1.8.19.0) you can find stand alone player here: Changes from version 1.8v to 1.8w (07-13-2007)Fixed an overflow bug where Bink movies around the 400 MB range might be preloaded rather than streamed.Could be since the intro is over 400mb's...
Ok, i try a Demo of a shooter (very new) and get the binkw32.dll. Just replace the original and get no differences at all.The version of this DLL is 1.8.23 (1.8x).The same happens with the Miles Sound System DLL (mss32.dll Ver 7.1a) obtained from their downloadable soft.Maybe this is not the approach to the solution.NicoPS: Sorry for my english, any mod is welcome to fix this :)
