Literally been playing this new update for like an hour and already ran into several gameplay issues.
First, the random gang attacks are nice when driving around for iMmerSioNS, but good lord does it make owning nice cars practically worthless now since they'll be scratched and banged up literally every few minutes when another random attack happens. Should've added mechanic garages around the map, or something, to off-set this so I don't have to completely abandon my car just to drive around in it without it being all smashed up through no fault of my own. Adding one "immersive" feature now ruins another for the people that don't want to drive around in smashed up cars all the time. >.> What do you know, a feature that should've been there day 1; auto-shops that repair your car/let you customize them is needed now more than ever now that you guys are leaning harder into the open-world aspects of this game, geez...
Second, speaking of the drive-by gang attacks, has anyone else been perpetually locked into a combat state after killing the enemies attacking you? This has happened 3 times in a row now and each time I either have to wait for long periods of time before the game finally recognizes I'm not fighting anyone anymore and finally lets me save my freaking game or I have to go inside of a safe house, which is incredibly inconvenient when these attacks are random and all I'm trying to do is side-quests. I don't mind being attacked on principle, but when it starts making the game, literally, unplayable (can't save the game, can't interact with vendors, can't pull up my phone, etc,) that's a huge issue.
Third, why the hell does my controller vibrate now when I'm using M&K to play the game? This has never happened on any pervious version of this game for me, but now all of a sudden when I do certain actions on M&K, like double jump, my controller shakes as if I inputted the action on it. This wouldn't be a huge issue either way if we could just turn off controller vibration, but for the life of me I cannot find that option in the menus, and I like driving in this game on controller more than M&K, so constantly having to plug my controller back in to drive isn't ideal either. Guess I'll have to play with my controller on the floor next to me while playing if I don't want to risk it falling off of my desk or lap because it keeps vibrating even though I'm not using it currently. How did this even happen? Someone please tell me where the option to turn off controller vibration is located.
Haven't even gotten to most of the new features yet and I already feel like we're being used as beta-testers yet again for what is now a 3 year old game at this point... The eurojank spaghetti code must run DEEP, huh?
