Update 2.1 Patch Notes

Yeah the radio is not working, at least on saves started before 2.1.

I also tested numerous other bugs, vast majority of them which were being reported since 2.0 have not been touched at all, though there were a few fixes here and there.

Overall the additions are fantastic, but the same effing gameplay and gamebreaking bugs are still present so I'm not playing until they get fixed. Waiting for the next major bug fix patch at this point.

Also Feedback Loop perk now actually got worse and kills V because now it drains HP, so avoid it at all costs.
 
i had to leave vacation and work for a few hours today so a coworker can test. Really wishing i was in Night city right now and avoiding spoilers is killing me

Yeah. Some all the way from... 1.1? Like character clothes not getting wet and car lights on 24/7. Apparently they still haven't arranged LODs post 2.0 properly because Misty's LOD causes large parts of her hair to turn black, etc, etc.

Feels bad man.

How is the radio not working though :ROFLMAO: They literally said it´s fixed in the patch notes, WTF?
 
Can someone check if you can call your car after you use the metro and skip the ride? I couldn't had to save and load game, could be a one time thing though or only for me so I'd be glad if someone else checked it out

I truly have no idea.

I also tested Overclock and that's also not working whatsoever despite the patch notes stating clearly it's fixed and should work. It does absolutely nothing. So either the fixes truly are not retroactive or they're truly using some secret build not available to us :D

In any case I tested in 20 minutes all the bugs I reported and updated the entire list. Waiting on 2.11 now unfortunately as I just don't have it in me to start a playthrough and run into hostile areas not working again.

The new stuff does look freaking awesome though, got mobbed by Maelstromers randomly on the road. I even love the hacking effects change as it looks quite sleek... very Edgerunner-like, although I'll kinda miss the Matrix codes flying up ^^

Oh, did the shadows get fixed ? I see you crossed them of..
 
Yup, we back to low-poly shadows from 1.6. I'd rather have them low-poly than whatever that monstrosity was with 2.0 :LOL:

Although the stupid shadow artifacts on hands/arms are still there, so gotta make a new report for that.

Yep, for sure- it´s better to have the 1.6 version of shadows than that monster that came with 2.0, agreed. :ROFLMAO:

At any rate; they've certainly tried and should get plenty of rest over the holidays. I just hope CDPR leaves more than a skeleton crew behind next year to sort this shit out.

Some bum approached me on the cart begging for eddies as I was riding to Watson, was pretty awesome :D

But yeah, I can't wait for a few patches to fix all the stuff currently plaguing the game. They did a great job with making the city feel very alive and interactable.

I know they are cooking up patches because they've been collecting stuff about Contagion specifically from one of my reports, so most likely Contagion getting rebalanced or reworked in some capacity in future updates, along with all the other stuff that needs fixing.

- Why no passengers are getting in and out of the train at each stop?
- Why can't we simply walk inside of the train?
- Can you add specific events for the metro transit like fights and gang attacks?
- It would be nice to be able to talk to NPCs in the metro.

I hope they fixed the neck/shoulder seam issue that persists on XBX, I don't see it mentioned anywhere.

Haven't used photo mode in ages because that problem makes pix look stupid. Not sure why it only happens when V wears an inner top without an outer top, but it affects the way V looks in PM, the inventory and video sequences.

It's been an issue for quite some time, and I don't get why it's, apparently, not been resolved. It's not like people haven't been pointing it out. It's not a problem I've caused with mods, XB doesn't have them, it's a problem in the base game.

I would just be happy we got the metro at all, no more adding stuff. Now it´s time to bug fix, bug fix and bug fix- that´s all we need.

-More things they add, the more things break and need fixing- let them just polish it now to the 1.63 version level of polish.
 
The way NCART is set up currently feels like one of the least immersive features of the game.

I (foolishly, I suppose) assumed we’d be able to walk around the platforms, physically get on the train, and actually be able to move around them. At the very least, a camera outside the train similar to third person in a vehicle would have been nice to appreciate the verticality of the city. We really don’t get to, otherwise.

This just feels like fast travel with a cut scene you can clunkily look around. I appreciate their effort here, it just feels half-baked.
