Update 2.1

+
I am in the same boat as I use my right mouse button to move forward, now it is hard-wired to do optical zoom in addition to whatever I map it to as it was back around launch. I haven't been able to fix it in any of the config files either. The only thing it plays nice with is mapping it to ADS.

how do i activate the bike neon lights once i installed sandevistan in the bike, neon lights used to activate with "E" but now its sandevistan

why are there so many NPCS and cars even though i have low corwd density activated, i got really low FPS, allow us to decide what crowd density we want to have, to keep up with our processors

IF YOU'RE NOT ADDING NG +, at least allow us to reset the gigs (secondary missions) so we can play with our recent loots

Hey,
I haven't played the patch yet, but I checked what's new with the romanceable characters in this video:
, and to me, it looks quite disappointing - most of the dialogues are recycled, and do not even connect well together.
The new animations are nice and the general impression kind of as well, but it still feels cheap.

Pretty much expected... To "create" new and unique dialogues, CDPR should have brought back the 44 voice actors (11 languages for each of our LI)... So sure, disappointing but expected.

They removed the "weird" red/green effect (introduced in 1.6 I think) during the first time you meet Johnny in the apartment. Way better :)

Lol, right :D It's hard to even begin to imagine how much work goes into the game, including the smallest details.

Hey, I kind of liked it :ohstopit: It went well with the atmosphere and with V's brain having a restart.
I like how the screenshot looks more...natural - but lights are the big thing here.
Does it play the "relic malfunction" screen effect? - Is there anything signalling the sh*t is on?
I can easily imagine the scene being dark, with effects, etc..., but the screenshot you posted doesn't look immersive to me - like freezing on a sunny beach.

I rolled back to 2.02 now my game doesn't have all the problems that have occurred since 2.1. CDPR is going to have to release a hotfix to address these issues, once that happens I'll give 2.1 another try. It really floors me that after the success they have had with Phantom Liberty and then all the problems they had at launch which caused a lot of negative press, that they would release a patch with some really good features that has as many bugs that have been reported. I have verified most of the bugs which is the reason I am rolling back the patch.

Why did they nerf the Apogee Sandevistan? If you have a max level character and spend hundreds of thousands of eddies buying/upgrading your cyberware, you should be extremely powerful. This was one of my favorite parts of the game, being able to use my sandevistan and enter bullet time to take out a group of enemies, but now the duration has been CUT IN HALF along with the bonus duration you get from kills, along with the axolotl cooldown reduction. WHY?!?!

This is such an odd decision and I seriously have had less interest in playing it recently even though I haven’t beat the main story yet. It’s going to be such a disappointment if they don’t revert the apogee sandevistan back to its former stats; it might just keep me from completing the game.

I don’t understand why a SINGLE PLAYER OFFLINE GAME needs balancing, like who cares if you’re OP?? If you don’t want to be, then just make a different build or use different cyberware. It’s an awful feeling logging into my game and being less powerful despite not changing anything about my character. In the world of the game, V has become less powerful seemingly out of thin air, and that is a disappointing feeling. I really hope they go back on these changes to the axolotl and apogee sandevistan, the game plays much better that way.

It's what I feared when they announced hangouts with our LIs, and well... sadly I was right :(

I think they simply removed the colors effects. They simply reverted back as it was before.

Love the majority of what’s been added (I loathe the walking radio) but the bugs it’s brought with it are making the game unplayable for me! Some of the nerfs are baffling too, nerfing items to “rebalance” a game rarely adds to enjoyment only takes away, making enemies a bit tougher by giving some more cyberware/hacks or adding a few more enemies to a location however would.

So functional NCART system is hands down a game changer for me, but one think that I noticed is that when observed from outside the game still uses old models for the carts, that don't match the interior. Is this a bug? I believe that the model of the cart as seen in E3 trailer is in game files as some modders used it in their metro system mods and I think it would fit better with how the carts interiors looks like.

I guess thank you? CP 2077 V1 was a PoC, v2 is a beta, v3 will be the completed game. You guys really took agile development to another level

Hey, can I just check, is the Dualsense implementation working as intended? I only ask because on all automatic weapons the triggers only have resistance when initially firing but there isn't any sort of kick with each shot like there is on PS5, or even the Enhanced Dualsesne mod.

Basically when firing this:
doesn't happen.

Wanted to add that controls are bugged now with 2.1 I use classic input method with a Series X controller. You cannot dodge now with a double tap correctly. You will dodge, but remain in a crouch. I switched to alternative, and it has a dedicated dodge key and no issues. Please fix this because I suck with the keyboard.
Yup, mentioned this another thread. I play on Steam Deck and air dashing is somewhat broken now with a controller, unless you force yourself to use the Dynamic control scheme (which I hate). Really hope they fix this with another update.

Can someone please link me the 2.1 update for pc offline installer?

@Upsydown you can download it from the GOG website as well, if you are struggling with GOG Galaxy. Open your browser, go to https://www.gog.com/en/account, search for Cyberpunk, click on it, and you'll see various files to download. There you can download the update files (v2.02 to v2.01). So you don't have to update it via GOG Galaxy.

I couldn't agree with you more, I have lost my desire to play. I have already passed the game, I have invested many hours in making an op character, for now this, to put a meter in the game, which honestly matters very little to me, it was preferable to invest the efforts in having more missions in which to obtain more weapons give an example. Let's hope they release another patch to fix that because I'm very disappointed. And apart from various bugs, in my case I can neither buy nor change the cyberware now, in short a disappointment of the patch, with how good 2.02 was.
