Update 2.3 Patch Notes

+

Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 Update May Be the Size of a Full Game especially for Xbox players who have historically received the largest patch files.

So how much is it 16GB+ ??
We will see :)
But if it may be "the size of the full game", it's more 60BG and 90GB with the expansion...

Increased the maximum save size from 12 MB to 15 MB
First of all, thank you for this news! Not sure if it will mess up anyway because of the addition of another stuff into the game, but better than nothing.
On the other hand it's still a Bittersweet victory. I was hoping for at least double size...

Yeah, really.

It feels weird. CDProjekt & 2077 teams are the first to hop on any initiative regarding uplifting their game as a benchmark on all plats, introducing all possible supports, features and innovations.

Supporting all possible PC manufacturers and hardware, now support Switch 2 and even Mac. Improving RTX and FG each GPU generation. Anything but Playstation 5 Pro support, let alone base console improvements that are must-have in any game in 2025 (FoV-settings, improved aiming sensitivity settings, complete controls remap option) is totally ignored for almost 5 years now.

I'm not jealous, you do the right things towards other platforms and all gamers deserve support and accessibility. All gamers but PlayStation gamers I guess... Will W4 and Orion be the same story on PlayStation? It really concerns me...

It is there, that's how the FSR4 option will work (Driver-side upgrade from Native FSR 3.1 Upscaling - which will be labeled as FSR4 in-game if Driver side upgrade switch is toggled on)

Great, if the implementation is good this time, then I'm fulfilled :).

y'all are awesome, if I could request one feature it would be a way to speed up the early game a little bit. Better ways to skip cutscenes/dialogue/braindances etc would help. I do permadeath runs of this game and it gets a bit tedious to watch the same stuff over and over.

Overall a nice update. Would also like to see the option of a shutter speed in camera mode, if it can be implemented. If it required alot of work, i would rather you guys give us more clothes (sleeves off and on option too please), maybe cyberware and keep the cars coming guys. I have a feeling you guys are already working on this so I wont pester any longer.

(also appreciate the art team working on these cars, they are amazing and so inspiring design wise. I was also hoping the cars FEEL different too. Most of the cars apart from the originals from the base game, all drive the same way. Like one of the biggest reasons i love the quadra vtec, is because of its understeer and precise track like turning required. Something unique to the new cars driving style would be very very appreciated)

Thanks CDPR chooms for this. I hope updates keep on dropping until we get the sequel. I love the parts of the game where V just sits in the passenger seat while another character drives. It's great to just listen to their conversation while soaking in the views. So I was literally clapping while watching the livestream and they showed the auto drive mode and Delamain taxi service. This gives me the same hype as the metro update
😣
The new vehicles, especially the new bike, look sick too. I hope someday you can also add a bus ride really. That would be preem.

i think these updates are great feedback loops so you can expect a lot from the next cyberpunk game. honestly, what we get right now is more than we could have imagined years ago. for this occasion i kept 1 ending of phantom liberty and the special ending of the main game.
once again, we need a city to burn!

Nooo! Third person update didn't come :(
And it will never come.

A tons of people are dissapointed because of "A" Patch. It is a great Patch. A Patch is not an overhaul or a DLC. A patch could be just a bug fix. But we get new quality of life add-ons, cars, and many more and new technical update for old and new graphics card owners plus a full native MAC support which I don't really benefit from but those who want to play the game on MAC will.

I welcome all the patches with open arms. Keep it up. Awesome game. I just played through the expansion a 2nd time (completely different choices this time around) and it did not disappoint! Shame we won't get any more expansions :)

I would like to share my thoughts regarding the recent 2.3 update for Cyberpunk 2077.

I appreciate the developers’ efforts to enrich the game with new features such as AutoDrive and Photo Mode, which will surely find their fans.

However, from my perspective as someone who has followed and played this title for a long time, this update raised more questions than answers.

It is especially difficult for me to accept that AVs — the flying vehicles so strongly associated with the atmosphere of Night City — remain inaccessible for use. It feels like a missed opportunity, especially since in one of the endings we see V riding such a vehicle, yet in the game, there is no possibility to ride them, even as autonomous transport.

Additionally, the Dogtown district, which should be one of the game’s greatest assets, still struggles with performance issues that hinder full immersion in the world.

In my opinion, it would be better to focus on improving these aspects and introducing more meaningful changes rather than adding more cosmetic details, which, although visually attractive, do not significantly impact gameplay.

Looking to the future, I hope that Cyberpunk Orion will bring these long-awaited changes — full freedom, real exploration, and utilization of all the elements of the world that so far have only served as background.

Thank you for your work so far, and I hope that future installments of this franchise will be even better.
