update loop

I recently purchased the witcher 2 assassin of kings at a the store and installed it with no issues. but whne I tried clicking on the launcher to do the updates but it sends me through an infinite loop of downloading and installing then restarting my computer. I've tried to download patch 0-1.35 but I receive a 'installed game version is invalid or incomplete'. I can't seem to get this game to work on my pc.

The enhance edition has all previous patches included

I used the link you sent me and clicked on the download and it didn't change anything. I click on the launcher and it's still stuck doing the infinite loop

I've been working on this all morning and I haven't got anywhere with it. If you could tell me an alternate method it would be appreciated
