Hi all,Players with a censored version of the game can request the link by sending an email with any content and any subject to thewitcher@lennardf1989.com.Wait a few seconds and you should recieve a reply containing the links to both the files you need to uncensor the game. Note that you will only recieve this mail once a day, so make sure you pick a trusthworthy email to send the request from.After you downloaded the RAR-files (use 7-zip or WinRAR to open it), simply extract the files into your 'The Witcher/Data" directory. Be sure to backup the original files first, don't keep them in your "Data" folder though, because they might interfere with the uncensore patch!After you installed, EVERYTHING is uncensored, including the sexcards. I even found the naked skins of the dryad and some other models. It will unlock additional blood effects as well For those interested in technical proof:

I can assure you the 11mb RAR (which actually holds a 50mb file) and the 280mb RAR (which holds the BIK-files) contains all you need to uncensor the game. You could extract the BIF file with the KEY file with this program: http://mods.starwarsknights.com/tk102/utils/bifrip005.rarPoints of interest (after extracting) would be:dds/cr_naked3_c1.dds (Dryad texture)dds/sp_sex_*.dss (Sexcards, where * is any name of characters you can have sec with)Next there is 2da/attackeffects.2da which holds the blood configurations and some other files.The localized00.bif and localized.key is the same in every game of the Witcher, except for the American release, due to it being censored. Basically, the localized files hold the stuff ESRB used to censor the game, it doesn't hold models or anything of that kind, just textures and the blood scripts. The mesh kind of stuff is located in meshes00.bif.The BIK-movies speak for themselves.

Yeah, that's great. Thanks for sharing.But I am aware of that in US version, some in-game models are censored as well. (such as the model of dryad, alps).Does the above files include the original version of those models as well?

Ok, after extractig the BIF files I found out that EVERYTHING is uncensored, including the sexcards (it seems the sexcards are textures that get layered over the bik-movie). I even found the naked skins of the dryad and some other models. It will even unlock additional blood effects I won't put proof here, since that will make this post Not Safe At Work.Cheers.

Thank you. I would have preferred an option to turn the censorship on and off in the official verison, maybe with the default set to off, but this is the next best thing. The entire thing seems silly to me, the game is clearly marked with an M rating so why would the US censors have trouble with that? I have seen nudity in the Age of Conan MMORPG, so I can't really see the difference here. I do not fault CD Projekt RED since they have to do what is required to get the game published.

I'm not doubting you, and I'm not asking you to post proof, I'll download and try it myself.However, I'm worried because of one of two things:The original uncensored patch was almost 600mb, this one is 10mb. That means that either this patch is fake, which I doubt, or the uncensored models are already on the disc... in which case you remember what happened to Oblivion when they found there was nipple-less Barbie style nudity on the disc... having hot dryads will drive the Faux News hounds wild.Or... maybe the original patch was bloated? I don't know... I'll give it a shot after mowing the lawn...Also, and I can't stress this enough (even modifying my post to put this here), I'm not throwing any kind of doubt on this patch. I can easy think of situations that would allow such a patch to be this size, such as CDP putting just the models for the pieces that were censored into one file to make it easier to patch.

I haven't installed the stuff yet, so I can't speak to that, but I can answer your question here. Yes, I sent an e-mail to the address you gave and got an e-mail back with the link almost instantly.The old uncensored mod required that people ask for a PM, and that may be why people are asking you for a PM. You don't need to PM them; the system you've set up is working just fine.Thank you very much for this! I love many things about my country, but I hate its absurd attitude towards nudity.
