I downloaded a patch that seemed to uncensor the cards just fine but the textures on the dryad were broken so she looks like a neon green humanoid with few defining features. I'd like to try the patch everyone here is using so if I could get the link pm'd I'd be grateful.

I'm looking for something to play, and having never played the Witcher, I decided it's about time I corrected that oversight. However, I'm 27 and that means I shouldn't have to play a censored version of the game darnit! I prefer to buy games through Steam, so that means I will probably be using the uncensor patch as opposed to getting an import version of the game.My question is, does the uncensor patch make the 100% equivalent (content-wise) to the UK version? I know the uncenor patch restores the female anatomy, but I heard that there were also some quests removed or at least changed as part of the censoring as well. Does the uncensor patch restore these as well, or is more or less just about nipples?

Hi everybody, check your PMs, I PMed everybody who posted since my last post in this forum. @ONDEN: I really don't know about quests, this is however the first I've even heard of the "quests affected" concept, and I've been playing patched and unpatched since shortly after the original edition. The patches addressed in the EE uncensored files change the cards, the dryad models, and also blood, due to the American version got sent with, oopsie, bloodless carnage. There is a steam version patch, with instructions.

As it turns out I was half-remembering this Kotaku article: http://kotaku.com/320696/no-pricks-in-the-witcher-%5Bupdate%5DLooks they were talking about edits of the dialog between the Polish and English versions, but not specifically changes between the UK and US versions.I found a couple links to uncensor patches on my own, and I hope I'm not giving too much away by just giving the generic site names, but one is on The Witcher World (which I'm assuming is yours), and the other is on Raine's Revolution - which is significantly larger for whatever reason. Are you aware of that other one? Are there any differences?

I have tried this today on the EE edition with a new game, and I cant seem to get it working. The first girl you bed down is Triss and its always the same as before. I backed up my old files and moved them to another drive to make sure it was not missing with it, and is still the same. Any help please, her cards also look as they did before.
