Well, the version they sell in England could be considered considerably more worthy of the term "English" than the one they sell in the US and Canada, so I thought I'd set the record straight, for our English, Irish, Welsh, and Scottish friends.Dragon6261 said:What i mean by english is the North American ver.
You are right... this is not true. My version is in English, but I cannot say whether its a US or UK version as my game was bought from South Africa, Gauteng. What my question originally was meant to be just to cleat the air a bit, was: "how exactly do you differentiate the censored version from the uncensored version of the game? e.g. Are the cards hidden? Is certain dialog silenced by "beeps"? That sort of thing. One may think they have an uncensored versionwhen it is actually censored... Now that that is cleared up... Differentiate please.Corylea said:This is not true. The main difference is in the sex cards. If you've ever seen a nipple or seen uncovered buttocks, then you have the uncensored version. Some of the cards are the same, so you can't necessarily tell at once -- Triss' Kaer Morhen card is the same in both versions, for example -- but the Witcher Wiki has the full set of both cards; once you've gotten a few cards, you should be able to tell which version you have.56236 said:"how exactly do you differentiate the censored version from the uncensored version of the game? e.g. Are the cards hidden?
