Upgraded Dying Night Handgun (Lost Upgraded DPS)

Something I'm having an issue with is I upgraded my Dying Night handgun and the DPS went up to 80+, and I can't upgrade it anymore until I level up some more, but after loading into the game from a save, the gun is back down to 64 DPS and still shows as fully upgraded for my lvl. Somehow it seems like the gun reverted back to the original DPS but still shows as fully upgraded. This pretty damn gamebreaking if you ask me.

I had the same thing with a Katana, but i thought i'd sold my good one and was looking at another one (pretty sure i wasn't).
Storywise i think it was after i got my weapons back in Clouds. Maybe that's the cause?

You put a silencer on it. That reduces the damage 15-30%
