Velen Wyvern Problems... getting him to land,
So i've been exploring in Velen and i came upon a Wyvern and i dearly want to fight it even if its a hard fought battle. However through some testing and attempts to get its attention i discovered a few things... 1: Wyvern will refuse to attack you if you shoot it while its roosting on the tower... 2: Shooting it mid flight can cause it to fall and crash into the ground, but it will either A: go back to its circle pattern or B: fall to its untimely death in the ocean below, and while thats great! fact i can still hear it breathing, and lack of loot tells me that its not dead and thats a bug... So i wanted to both ask if this is a quest area later, or if some easier way to get it to land, because i find it VERY strange that a wyvern is ignoring someone that close to its lair... its really frustrating and the limit on the crossbow Axis is even more annoying... have to get close to hit it, but getting that close often prevent you from raising the crossbow high enough to fire at it...this seems weird why doesnt it just attack when you approach? that would make so much more sense to me...
