Vergen Besieged critical bug! (Spoilers inside)

In the phase of Chapter II where the Kaedweni attack Vergen, Zoltan orders you to activate the oil kettle mechanism on the right side of the walls. Once up there, there's a bunch of dwarves fighting kaedweni that keep coming up with ladders, the quest marker indicaties the mechanism should be right next to them, assuming it's the big cogwheel in the wall (like there is one of the left wall where zoltan is), only thing is, it's clipped vertically insidee the wall! I can't interact with it, so now i'm plain stuck.

Another semi gamebreaking bug i've encountered is during the accusations of the prince, where at some point, need to talk to Willy Oblate (if you follow the alternative questline). But Willy Oblate doesn't start a conversation with you, he just says "Leave me alone" all the time.

This needs to be fixed immediately. There is nothing more frustrating than playing this game, being amazed by it and then to get epic face palmed when a stupid object goes stuck in a wall, c*clblocking any progress.

I have the EE installed, but i'm not planning on going through the entire hassle of reverting back to pre-EE just to fix this issue. It needs to be fixed anyway

This seems to be a very frequent issue with EE. Did you start a new game with the new EE or load a pre-EE savegame? Devs say they cannot guarantee compatibility with pre-EE savegames because of the amount of changes, so they recommend starting a new play through.

an old save, but honestly, i am not going to go through all that again, because a patch made a crucial object in the game clip vertically in the wall. They should fix it prior to asking people to just start over completely

is there any official confirmation about that bug and if that's so are they gonna to repair in short time??..as for the uninstall-reinstall thing of the witcher 2 without the EE patch...well it doesn't work...it's pretty frustrating considering all these hours spent in front of the screen...shame cause the game rocks nevertheless...
