Very low fps in burning Alt-Wizima

Hi all,I've got very low fps in the section where Old Wizima is burning. Very low means: About 3. Usually I'm playing with 40 fps or more. When all graphic settings are set to low (instead of all on high), I sometimes have upto 8 fps, but that isn't really the truth. Is that a known problem? How can I fix it?Granjow

read: Getting tech help on the forum and attach that PCWizard report as instructed ( use the older version of PCWizard if you have problems with the newer one )lower your settings just for that section of the game

From my expirience, that lv. has the lowest framerate of any in the game. Therefore what you are expiriencing is normal. I run the game with a GTX260 @ 1920 x 1080 and the framerate in that area is pretty choppy/slow for me as well. It's playable, but hovers between 10-20 frames alot vs other areas that easily stay above 30, peaking much higher.

Okay. I guess one problem is the fire, another are the barricades; when I blew them away the frame rate sunk down to < 1 fps.I've got a 7900 GT, 1680x1050; All settings to low including resolution to 1024*768 bring the frame rate to only about the double value. Imho very strange, as already the lower resolution has less than half as much pixels which need to be calculated, it should run much faster.By the way, after installing 1.4, the game was only half as fast as before. I had 27 fps in the swamp and afterwards 12 at the very same place (savegame) with exactly the same settings.Granjow
