I persuaded 4 people, who don't even play their games too often, to buy it on Xbox and none of them came back disappointedVolsung said:I am sure TW2 is unlike any other XBOX game available.
I totally agree with you .AhmadMetallic said:No I gave a few other reasons concerning Valve's services and user-friendly tools, but yes, that is one of the main reasons why you should be thankful for steam, it sells PC games. If it didn't exist, PC sales would have been in a really tough spot, so tough that some publishers would choose to exclude the PC from their future games. And the thousands of console players who built PCs in the last 2 years would've stuck to their consoles if it wasn't for Steam's ridiculous offers and the fact that you can buy and install a game in two clicks.
And if you don't realize how important sales are then you're just unrealistic my friend. Why do you think Witcher 3 is gonna be so huge? Because it reviewed well? No, it's because it sold well.
And there's no need to downvote me just because you seem to obsessively hate Valve.
You are the most decent console owner I ever met on internet .TezJaggs said:I think people like steam and their deals which is something to do with valve i think? As i never game on PC i do not know but also that and a game called half life was really good apparently? I am so glad CDPR decided to bring out its games on consoles too now otherwise i would never have experienced their great games and nice attitude towards fans. Though their games are far too brilliant and far too complex and interesting for the average console gamer probably. It is a sad thought when you see these guys who make amazing games and do well for themselves but its sad when you see their games sales versus call of duty or gears of war etc.. Its pathetic when you know CDPR quality of game is so much higher and the stories so much more intersting. Oh well.
Portal and Dota are shooters?Volsung said:If you don't mind DRM and love shooters, then maybe Valve can be king.
It's not a side-scroller, if that's what you mean. You can get nerdy about the definitions if you want, but if you're playing a character in a setting, then you're role-playing to an extent.ReptilePZ said:Since when is Castlevania an RPG?
Then I guess Call of Duty and Gears of War are RPGs then by your definition, in fact so would bomberman and pac-man, and pretty much every other game in existence, because in all of them you are playing a character in a setting.cmdrflashheart said:It's not a side-scroller, if that's what you mean. But yeah OP, it's DMC-like hack/slash.
I don't want to get nerdy about the definitions - in fact, I hate people who get butthurt over stuff like that, it's just that Castlevania is clearly not an RPG (not sure why you thought "not RPG" = "side scroller"). Just wanted to make sure the OP knows that the only thing the game you're suggesting has in common with fantasy RPGs is the fantasy element.cmdrflashheart said:It's not a side-scroller, if that's what you mean.
