I know space is confirmed, but almost no one is talking about visiting the Moon. Is visiting the Moon confirmed, and will we have missions and be able to purchase lunar apartments, .etc?
No space, please.
I don't have to imagine it. I've seen itClose this spoilerino.
No one will answer because we just don't know. Don't get hyped about features that maybe won't be there.
(But in Cyberpunk 2020, there was space colonies but not the Moon if I remember well.)

Imagine attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. IC-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. That would be awesome.
On the Moon, in orbit, on Mars. There were massive space battleships and shit. But that's not cyberpunk. That's the background. When you go into space it ceases to be cyberpunk. Space is just to sterile. It's no place for a street samurai.
There were colonies on the moon.
Or DLC/expansions, perhaps. Tease the idea of moon activity in the main game, then release an expansion that delves deeper. You heard of the Crystal Palace, I think it's called? It's some big moon casino or something in Cyberpunk 2020.I dont think they need Moon, but its good to have if they need to add new stuff for sequel for example. Ideally you want to show some stuff what later can be used to sell next game.

I think DLC should be roles, let player experience roles like Nomad, Media, Corp, Rockeyboy etc. Players tend to go crazy over "classes" at least they have before. Yeah, theres 10 roles, they could keep the hype going for long long time. New Role every 3 month, they could keep it going 2 year.
That would be cool, I'd be very happy with that.
If we get space I'd expect it as a DLC not part of the initial game.
I’ve always found cyberpunk (the genre) in outer space a cool, intriguing setting full of possibilities that don’t necessarily have to clash with the High Tech, Low Life mantra. So, even though I don’t require it nor expect it in the game, I’d of course dig it if it were there If it did, though, it’d probably be in either (or both?) of these scenarios:
Still, unless V finds themself in very special circumstances (e.g. a rich benefactor, an exceptional fixer, some crazy software other than the immortality chip, etc.), I find it difficult to picture an edgerunner like them having the in-world resources for said scenarios
- The least ambitious: a quest on an Orbital Air shuttle.
- The most ambitious: an expansion set in a space station like Crystal Palace.
(Disclaimer: I have very limited knowledge of the tabletop game’s lore.)
