Volume bug - which patch will fix it ?

I have the volume bug (volume very low when using head phones on realtek built in audio). From google many people have this volume bug so I had hoped they woould fix it in 1.03 or 1.04 but they did not. Has cdprojek given any indication of when they will fix the volume bug ? (I am waiting for this bug to be fixed before playing the game which I have already purchased0.

nobody here. hasn't been in weeks. customer service level = zero.

literally fail fucking service, any 'real' company would be out of business by now... but software industry happens to get away with it.

bcs, their customers have the intelligence of a 20 year old. no offense.

anyways, go wild, mods are asleep.

ie: buy a car, its broken, go to mechanic/dealer, you think they'd have the balls not to tell you/admit to problems? you think they'd have the balls to tell you 'its ready when its ready'... fucking joke is what it is.

rule of acquisition #239: never be afraid to mislabed a product. we can start quoting those rules i suppose.

anyways, i'm only patient to a point. i get no response for 2-4 weeks... and i will start breaking stuff.

honestly, im about to ask for my refund. not because the game is broken (which it obviously is), but because of the complete lack of communication/service.

fuck it.,

Is there a thread where they give details about what they're working on? cause I saw nothing like that.

Does anyone know if 1.05 will fix the volume bug ? Waiting till bug is fixed to play the game. To be honest very disappointed as this is the only game I have played in several years that has this bug.

I wait for a fix too, cause I can't play like this.

HDMI on TV for my case with GTX 970.

I tried to open a support ticket and they responded promptly: contact wb games (very useless I think esp given that I purchased it from gog). How 'wb' game is going to fix their broken software I have no clue but if I hear something from wb games I will update this thread. I also open a ticket with gog which has historically had very good customer support. Mind you I do expect it to take a while to get a response given the high load and that doesn't bother me but it makes me really angry that cdprojek red told me to contact a third party company. I never had that issue with EA.

Not exactly On Topic but related and bump your post :D

Since latest patch I've encountered cutscenes playing at very low volume. Rest of game is fine. Had this happen twice so far. Once on a cutscene I heard before and don't recall it being so low (restarted). I'd send in a support ticket if I could recall which cutscenes they were lol... One was beginning with child ciri but not sure which one, and the other one of the near final cutscenes with adult ciri... Oh well next time I'll have to make sure to write it down.

Anyone else notice this?

No response from wb games yet (still don't understand why a game purchased @ gog written by cdprojek requires a support ticket with wb games).

Well no response after two full business days; so much for wb auto email that promises a response within 2 busines days (not that I expected much of a useful response). Mind you I'm not expect much since cdprojek can't even akcknowledge their own crappy coding.

Ok. I found a fix. Well the fix was on steamboard. I had seen it earlier but couldn't find the option in my computer. If you click on speaker there is a table labeled "enhancements". Under the list there is an option "Loudness Equaliziation"; if you enabled that option then the sound quality and loudness seemed to be fixed in witcher 3. Haven't tested if htis break other games which already work correctly but it is easy enough to disable.
-
Ok tested with a few other games; now I have to turn them down to 10% while witcher 3 is 100% but it is workable.

Are you talkin about this setting ? -this is from user ini in your documents (I changed to 70 to be equal to music)
[Audio]
VoiceoversVolume=80

I don't think so as that looks like the option you can set in Audio (when running the game the audio option allows you to set voice/music/... they are all set to 100).
-
As I noted in the post above yours i found a workaround by enabling the audio drivers (outside th game) option "Loudness Equaliziation"

Loudness Equalization ruins the dynamic range and deteriorates sound quality.
I can't even use it because i use an external USB DAC/AMP, even with the volume on the amplifier maxed, the game is quite low.

Music volume during gameplay is also quite low even with ambient lowered to 70%.

Outside the game everything is cripplingly loud.
