Holy hell I'm geuinely surprised because Diablo III clearly outnumbers us Witcher fans.

The Witcher 2 will probably never win against ME3 in this contest... Basically because Guild Wars 2 is already doing that job XD

I think semifinals will be Guild Wars 2 VS Halo 4 (which I'm pretty sure) and The Witcher 2 VS Assassin's Creed 3 (which I'm not).

Because I honestly don't know how people will react in The Witcher 2 VS Borderlands 2. Although Borderlands 2 is recent, famous and a nice game, my bet is on The Witcher 2, but still... I mean, if you want my opinion, both have a similar relation of popularity and quality, so I just say that it will be a real tough fight. Maybe I'm wrong and The Witcher 2 slashes it down like a regular drowner, we'll see.

Now, I will be REALLY amazed if Assassin's Creed III loses against Darksiders 2 XD

Yes, but D3 was poorly received among fans. A lot of them are voting against Blizzard out of spite. AC3 and BL3 not so much. Not rooting against TW2, I'm just saying this is like pitting an indie film against a Micheal Bay production.

Mmmm... I would say that it mostly has to do with WHO gets the buzz and actually goes and VOTE...

Id imagine a lot of fans of both Borderlands 2 and AC3 wont bother... So, we maybe have and edge on that regard, though I agree with you undoubtfully those games have WAY more fans overall.

The brackets are realy, REALLY dumb. I mean who puts Mark of the Ninja against Borderlands 2?! An original indie game with very little marketing against a multi-million dollar extremely popular franchise?! Are they trolling or just really dumb?

The brackets aren't dumb at all, they put the big games in such a way that they'll make as many rounds as possible. The more rounds they get through the more voters traffic they'll get, which means more advertising money and potential new regulars for the site.

Indeed, since if you look through the comments, you can see "many" people are voting for TW2 by default, even though they never played the game, and are at the same time describing their let down over Diablo 3.
