I expect nothing but minor bug fixes. And after that nothing else feature-wise or improvement of immersion (ie AI, customization, etc)

The game was basically scraped and rebuilt in the span of the last two years with the older assets and simplified mechanics of gameplay, character customization, lack of cyber ware (visible fashion ware, wtf happened to "style over substance"), interaction, hacking/terminal control, features, and World building. They can't possibly build the RPG experience that was shown in 2018 and that's a fact. And considering the RPG tag was removed. Welp that's a dead end.

Cyberpunk 2077 had a good story, that's it. Already shelved and never looking back.

If you remain hopeful good for you. But I learned my lesson and ain't buying shit anymore from CDPR. Still kinda curious for the online mode though I don't expect much.

Currently having a blast in cyberpunk 2020 and thinking of the lackluster experience 2077 is, nothing can save it. They can't pull of a no man's sky for this one.

Ie net running in Cp2077 (2018 edition) basically looked like a 3d battle mat from cp2020 net running (awesome and engaging in my opinion) and thinking of the barebones and streamlined hacking in 2077 (release edition) just makes me sad... And that's just one example.

Nothing can honor Mike Pondsmith's vision of the Cyberpunk world with what CDPR has. I even kinda feel sorry for the man for being directly tied to this game. CDPR should've just called it "A Cyberpunk story" to avoid any "false" assumptions...

Some AI implementation. Bug fixes.

That's all they can do by March. Everything else needs major overhauls or major additions. Some of which will initially brake the game.

One of the reason why I suggest renaming this CP2077 Prologue, rework the ending to not bring you to the point of no return, and separate game saves based on origin choice. Systems that can be added should be added to original game, but a lot of stuff would need additions or redoes on core story elements. I think that is too much to ask.

After that create an "experimental build" like a test server. Have players involved agree to data collection. Then starting adding major systems to the game overtime. In 2 years I think all of what is being asked can be accomplished.

No one that owns the game now should have to pay for any additions, changes, or DLC.

It's incredible how many of you expect major changes by March.

Don't, you're only setting yourselves up for more disappointment. Minor and major bug fixes with balance changes and MAYBE some QoL improvement (zoomed out map while driving, multiple crafting, those kind of things).

Any and all system that we want, previously announced or otherwise, will only be implemented when and if they work. It will take months if they even happen.

Where is the option for "Ignored all missing features and consumer outrage", "Sold expansions passes with some of the content that should have been in at launch", "Announced Multiplayer and Microtransactions"

Agree.

Let's chop up something seemingly minor but integral. Factions.

Major factions: Corporations, Gangs, Nomads, and Government. Mercs and fixers are the freelancers and middlemen.
Sub-factions: Arasaka, Kang Tao, Medtech, Militech, All Foods, and Bio Technica. Valentinos, 6th Street, Maelstrom, Scavs, Tyger Claw, VooDoo Boys, Animals. 7 nations of the Nomads. Politicians, Law Enforcement, and Net Watch. (missed some here and there)

First we need to build a system that tracks individual factions. It has to simulate Faction traits and end with them having a tangible influence on the general world simulation. What is their territory. How does their hierarchy work. Adjust influence the factions have over the world map. Have the world react to those changes. Have a faction(s) react to other faction(s) based on changes and shifts in the simulation. Generally when left untouched it should stabilize with some ebb and flow here and there. Okay, so no player monkeying around yet. That's just simulating it and letting it run for a week, collecting results, and making tweaks. etc...

Now add the player. How does the player gain entry. Does player origin affect their standing with factions. Once part of a faction, how does that affect their relation with other factions. What makes these factions unique to the player. What rewards and penalties are gained by working with / against factions. Can a player take control of a faction. Can the player bail on a faction. What happens when a player fails a mission for a faction. As influences are gained with a faction how does that affect the world. Do factions influence the main story. Do they affect a players relationships with other major characters. What story does each faction have. What do the factions add to the story and lore. Does the player start taking on the persona of a faction. etc...

Okay, so that is just what I can come up off the top of my head. Feel free to add to it, but it's a lot as it is.

I am not making excuses for CDPR. This is what I would have had the team start with. World simulations, game systems, and the like. I would find where the roots and interconnections are and flesh out those points. By me, I mean the heads of departments and Super Nerds that specialize in the coding and systems design. Goals set. GO! Drive testers insane by constantly saying, BREAK ALL OF THIS!!! Adjust, rinse, repeat. Until functional and believable. Not perfect. That doesn't exist.
Design and art for the world is really just assembly line stuff. A lot of devs buy assets (outsource) and touch them up anyways.

If I didn't have the time, I wouldn't have advertised it.

I expect them to be on the path strong to making 2077 a masterpiece that is talked about and enjoyed for years just as they have done in the past. I got witcher 3 on release, and had alot of bugs and problems up unitl the bloody baron where i hit a game stoping bug. Shelved until both dlcs came out, and its one of my favorite of all time 9/10. If witcher combat was as fun as 2077 it would be 11/10.

I expect the game to be dead by March.
If it only fixes things like minor and major bugsI really don't see why people would come back to re-experience the game.

Nothings changed except cars wont cip through floors and trees wont bend anymore. WOW.

This game had so much promise, alot of people hoped much more. Just delay March hotfix indefinetely and come back with a massive fix&content update at like the end of 2021.

It literally took MORE than a year for Blood & Wine DLC to come out which was a huge success for the game.

I do hope that CP77 has a same treatment, but instead of a DLC it's just massive hotfix & content update.

All of the above. Add to the list - reverting the censorship and bring back the sexual content. Reinstate the RPG elements and adding the shit like the 3D hacking/item inspection etc. Pretty much all the shit promised through all the trailers/interviews/behind the scenes/Deep Dives.

Implementing half of the above by march 2021, would have me give them the benefit of the doubt, for the rest of the year to finish the rest.

Aside from the bug fixes. The police spawning. Nothing else.

I don't shoot or hit civies often with my car but when I do, please let the approach of the police be visible at least and not spawn inside walls.

I really doubt their plans to release more content (which could or couldn't be almost ready even before release) will drastically change. They will focus more on fixes, system improvements and balance, but adding more content will not be very likely postponed.

I don't expect anything huge, but I'm sure we will see more NPC improvements and polishing. Things which very likely coming in upcoming months (not necessary next 2 or 3 months) are NCPD improvements, QoL changes, NPC improvements, barber shop and side mission in free DLC.

If I have to bet, first bigger DLC will be Westbrook Casino and Club, well at least I hope (link here and it's number 5).

Nothing. Sadly this has been released as a complete game instead of the Early Access that it is, so they want do much other than fixing bugs, maybe better AI, and trying to sell DLCs.

I know we have a wonderful topic with a mega list of expectations and requests for this game.
What about priorities for you, gamers ?

By March 2021, you expect CD Projekt to release TWO MEGA PATCHES...
Those patches are going to include...

(no limits, choose by your preferences...)
Think most of us went through this on other threads but would it be safe to assume that by this point we can summarize it in the following?

1 - Bug and issue fixing
2 - Agency, proper railroading and branching
3 - Added mechanics for the missed opportunities - making the world feel more alive than currently (not saying that it doesn't but it does feel a bit shallow) and I don't mean a loooot added but something tangible enough to make it feel more vibrant, hell at least a change in the police scanners lol

My expectations for now are as follows:

January patch - 60% stability(with focus on last gen consoles), 30% bugs/glitches, 10% - Quality of Life improvements

February patch - 50% stability(depends on how much January patch helped), 20% bugs/glitches, 20% - QoL, 10% - fixing things January patch broke :)

So, by March 2021 - game runs stable on both PCs and consoles(no crashes; very rare visual bugs/glitches, engine issues resolved,. further optimization), quest breaking bugs are fixed, sounds issues are fixed; small QoL changes implemented(mostly in UI/UX area).

EDIT: I forgot to add - it's a super tight schedule and they will need to pull out some true development/programming wizardry to pull it all off in such a short time.

None of the above.

I'd be surprised if they work on anything else other than getting re-listed on the PS store.
That is probably the biggest financial impact out of all the issues right now. And is easily going to take months of work.

So, I wouldn't hold my breath on any improvements.

To be back on Playstation Store they have to give us improvements, so yes, we can expect performance and stability improvements, bugs/glitches fixes, NPC improvements, QoL changes.

And I still doubt Sony came and removed Cyberpunk from the store and started refund money. I wouldn't be surprised if this was CDPR idea and game will be back in store by end of January. Mark my words.

Didn't even vote as I think everything on that list extremely low priority and cosmetic not worrthyof of a "emergency fix patch" . Any of that could be added to new dlc along with the

The need to make a Citadel type DLC ( without the mission) dates , fulling interactive apartment ( every part you interact with has a ( Couple )animation or in a perfect world repeatable cutscene

- the ability to initiate affection ( hugs kiss cuddles) repeatable and at will.

New story , new romances , adding more content to existing romance, more story cut scenes , conversations, FIX CLOTHES so we can wear what we want! > - combat , multiplayer , optimizations , combat balancing etc

- third person would be nice

-longer story

- more romance options

Also really important ****ending spoiler *** UPDATED
TAKE OUT THE 6 MONTH DEATH SENTENCE Give me the option to kiss Judy during the nomad ending when we meet and then a cutscene during "breakfast" Update fix panam love scene in the basilisk so you can actual see it and its not in "nightvison view and going1000 frame per second.

I would rather them just fix "bugs" for till march and then spend the next year working on new DLC in SILENCE with NO communication about what to expect. "No Roadmaps" "No what to expects" No Nothing Just we are working on content we will let you know when its done . Then Radio silence for the next year.

Also thing I expect in March

- still waiting for them wafting time fixing time on last gen consoles that should have never been there in the first place.

- some people still ranting about " missing feature" and being "lied" to

- some people still blaming the software for being "broken" cause they have major problems running it on their on PC even though some how magically its not " broken" on other peoples PC and runs smoothly.

Really you have to give the devs credit for making Schrödinger's cat software which can simultaneously be broken and not broken at the same time.
