W2 Steam autosaves not appearing

So this is pretty weird... Everytime I manually save/quick-save the saves appear in the remote folder and the "Load Game" list, but whenever the game auto-saves they don't appear anywhere. I've both checked the default save location, the Steam save location, and the "Load Game" list and the only saves appearing are the manual/quick-saves.

And before you ask, it does say "game saved" whenever it autosaves and my Steam cloud is disabled.

Any way to fix this? I've already tried verifying the cache via Steam.

if it's disabled how does it still appear in the Remote folde?

backup all your savegames from the normal and Remote folder, enable and then re-disable Cloud saving: http://en.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?/topic/29207-some-notes-on-steam-cloud-saving/

The Remote folder seems to be my default save destination no matter whether I have Steam cloud on or off. And I will try what you said.
