In the npcactions.2da file there's two entry for w_h_playharp. Only the one with the animation "w_h_playharp" works, but the npc doesn't show the harp. I think because the fields Right/LeftHandItem are empty, but I didn't find any harp-item to put in. I've tried setting the placeable "ob_harpmag01" near the action point (or also changing the appearance of the action point) but if it's too close the animation doesn't start. Does someone know if this is an "incomplete" action, or, a way to make it works?... or it's better if I make my vamp to play a violin? ;Dbye

You can move the harpmag placeable further away from the actionpoint - the character will likely play "in the air", Jarre-style, but it's better than nothing. Or, you could try to copy the harpmag object to a new file (ob_harpmag02.mdb), change its internal name to ob_harpmag02 using some hexeditor, and without the accompanying .pwk collision data (normally in ob_harpmag01.pwk) - this should give you a "ghost" harp, one you can walk through, but also play through.

Ok! I was tempted by the "Jarre-style".. but then I've created the file ob_harpmag02.mdb changing the first two internal name ob_harpmag01 to 02, and it's works!But, looking better, I notice that the animation was done for a cithara or a lyre instead of an harp.Anyway... many thanks! :) (in a dark environment it looks fine)bye
