Walking Movement / Sensitivity Bug - PS4

I picked up the game yesterday on PS4 and have been enjoying it greatly all for a couple of really awkward and jarring bugs.

Geralt at times will continue walking in one direction if you tap x whilst walking (ie you can take your finger off the movement stick and he'll keep moving forward). It can't be a sensitivity setting or issue because you can rotate the camera and it doesn't affect his direction, he will keep plowing into whatever obstacles are in the way. This is really bad because the x button is always being used to loot crates, pick ingredients, interact with NPCs, so to have it affect the movement in such a jarring manner I can only assume is an overlooked bug?

Also, selecting NPCs or any item in the world when in range with the X button is hit and miss, there seems to be a specific range or place Geralt needs to be in sometimes to select properly - this is also REALLY annoying. Also (and I might be wrong), it seems Geralt has to be stationary to interact with any objects - surely this is a bug and not by design!

This combined with the fact that the x button makes Geralt seemingly walk off on his own makes the controls FAR more awkward and janky than I feel they should be. It isn't game breaking but it really does affect playability in a bad way.

Can anyone confirm this is a reported bug and that they are working to resolve this?

Yes. Walking animation really makes it hard to interact with any stationary objects.

Or lighting that one tourch in the crypt below White Orchard. It seems to be interactive bc it is highlighted with a sign when using senses, but no matter what angle i approach it the darn torch Im never prompted with an x/ignite...
