Warhammer Fantasy - RPG

Do any of you think there will be an RPG set in the Warhammer fantasy universe? I see so much potential for a game set in this world, rich lore, rich history. Various races, many monsters,... etc. I always dream of an epic RPG game set in this fantastic high fantasy setting. Gotrek & Felix have potential for this to be turned into one. I am learning the arts of game development, I would like to create a Warhammer fantasy RPG. Games Workshop sucks and they will not allow for a such an opportunity to come to fruition, if they disallow it, I shall make it anyway!

RPG hmmm i'm not sure, but there's that new Mordenheim game being developed, and of old you could play Shadow of the Horned Rat and Dark Omen which though RTS's had a lot of roleplaying elements. SotHR was a bit graphicallt restricted though, but still a hell of a campaign. You've also got Warhammerquest apparently, based on the old Talisman game, which is set in a disguised old world, can't speak for quality of it though.

Oh and is Warhammer Online still a thing.

I agree though i'd love to see a deep, complex and massive RPG set in the Old World, drawing on the what...thirty (?) years of development it's gone through. Personally it holds a place in me heart, I remember sending off for my Thorgrim Branedim figure with the voucher from the first edition of WFB, one with the skelly being smashed by the Chaos Knight, white box. Ziggurat of Doom I think was the scenario included.

Edit: Oh and there's been rumours for years that Creative Assembly are working on a Warhammer: Total War game, bit of a turn about since Total War ripped off SotHR.
