What I love is the ridiculous attention to the details. The way the curve of the arrow affects its path even as Letho dodges it. The expressions of the sorcerer, and the ridiculous amount of ice fragments. Geez. How long did it take to render?

I also love how the crown is like superglued on the king's head. Isn't letho afraid of the head slipping out?

edit: watched it again. definitely something strange going on there. it's shown the same way in the game. the bonnet is'nt even attached around his chin. his heads seems stuck inside the bonnet and the crown stuck on the bonnet.

very weird.

Good CGI, but a little over-the-top to my tastes. The epicness of it doesn't fit the world of the witcher as we know it from the novels. Still, credit given, where credit's due - some of the details are truly impressive. I liked it when the killer cast Quen sign (protective spell) to shield himself from the magical explosion. Well done. I wish though, the stuff the killer did (using two weapons and dodging arrows while running) were possible in the game.

he made it look easy but seriously, an assassination of a king on a boat with that spell and later escaping is easy? Well technically no one saw it but there was that other ship around and moreover we don't know what happened afterwards off screen

His escape from Aedirn might have still been very hard. That second boat might have pursued him and have spread the word about his physique. Outposts in the borders might have been alerted. I suspect a Scoia'Tael unit was waiting for Letho on the banks and they took him to Flotsam.

Great movie, excellent details, faces are so natural... Even arrow spine flexing is perfectly real. However as an archer myself I have to acknowledge that technique of the archer from the movie is poor. He keeps bowstring far from his head. To shoot accurately you have to touch bowstring to your face, it is called anchoring and it helps you to shoot consistently.

What can i say, another excellent trailer.

The only thing i find a little strange is why the archer does not aim for Letho with the first arrow.

It would be good if we could play as Letho for a few minutes.
