The card art is RAD. Wonder how it will interact with Syanna and tokens :ok:

For Syanna I would expect that a 7 transforms to a random 8 and then to a random 9. If you target a 12 with Syanna it will stop at 13.

Not sold on it ahah, NR has many poweful engines that you wouldn't want to lose, can see create a nasty combo with the king though!

He's only able to transform Witchers so maybe NR is getting some kind of Witcher token that would be worth transforming, so I guess we'll have to wait until more NR Card's are revealed to see if he's good or bad.

Looks amazing with deploy Witchers with low base strength.
There is the Silver Witcher Trio, however they are so horribly unplayable and overpriced that that play is still bad due to playing that Trio with the same tempo as an average 4p card.
The card has potential, considering it can (based on how the Griffin Witchers turn out) continuously gain 1+ points every couple of turns and has Shield on all of those copies ... not to mention that King Roegner might be nuts with it.
So all things considered it is a bronze engine that stands and falls with the other reveals and is very secure, due to the Shield on itself and ALL of the copies it creates.

Edit: I guess we should all keep in mind that Vesemir should definitely be played afterwards to not waste the boosts.

Woah, didn't read the "ally witcher" part, guess you're right, maybe NR will get witcher tokens or maybe other witcher bronzes.

So far most cards revealed require setup/synergy to work. Quite interesting approach.

looks like this expansion is just one giant meme. The game is moving farther and farther away from strategy and moving towards RNG and Binary play.

Not necessarily.
It is true that we get 2 meme RNG cards, however those are (hopefully) just 2 cards and luckily meme cards, rather than competetive cards.
Think of them as a kind of pack fillers some players care about.

A 9 point bronze card for 5 provisions? ... Isn't this too much? Like we can compare it to Griffin or to the other MO vampire card that needs a sacrifice to get 4 vitality points but this one is just better. :] (?)

Hmmh to my mind this should also be a 8 for 5. When you do not consider those cards which can generate a lot of value (e.g. thirsty dames,...), this is the strongest 5 provision cards.

How to use it?

Play it in last round:
- Will be a 8 for 5, can maybe help you to get rid of unneeded coins
- Maybe there are better finishers

Play it earlier and poison it:
- Will be a 8 for 5 as in first round it´s probably not poisoned
- Get additional +2 Coins after you have only 5 cards in hand by Roland
- Danger of removal of opponent poisoner (Opportunities to protect: Defender, Veil after poisoned)
- Alternative self-poisoners: Wretched addict (will be superior in long rounds and survival), Salamandra Abnomination 7 for 5 to my mind subordinate
- It can possible also be blocked by Kurt next round to be a 8 for 5.

Having thought about it again the Griffin Witcher Adept gives me a really bad feeling for its synergies.
If it can somewhat regularly get decent targets (e.g. a non- garbage Commando Neophyte for Witchers) or low provision Witchers with most of their value put into a deploy (i.e. also having a 1 or 2 point body) this card could easily be great as a 5p or maybe even as a 6p card, so them pricing it at 4p makes me fear they will just cut down the synergies to make it this cheap (although there is Blue Stripes Scout, which would also be fine as a 5p card, so maybe I am reading too much into this).

I can’t believe that ST has got a very good card! Cat Witcher is like my dream card for my GT deck! Of all the three ST cards we have got till now, this is the best and I love it! I have to train my Dol Blathana Sentry to be busy!

Thx my comments for the new cards.

Viper witcher Adept.
Decent card comparable to cards like Garkain and Magne Division. To my mind at little bit worse as the boost value might be heavily reduced if your opponent uses many tutoring/thinning units. If you start the round this card gets boosted first round (and any further round in case nobody interacts with deck via tutoring/thinning,...). Otherwise, it needs to be prepared.

Cat witcher
Very strong card and interesting concept. You encourage your opponent to avoid one row and this can easily punished by other cards. Nice synergies with Dol Blathanna Sentry. The days of Guerilla Tactics appear to be coming.

So, we already now 3 archetypes for the new expansion:

ST will focus on movement and card placement, SY will be self poison, NG will be enemy deck control and manipulation.

If anyone has figured the other 3 factions, feel free to fill me in.
Anyway, i like it, they are original and not just buffs or removal or swarm. Im starting to get my hopes this will be the best expansion for Gwent :ohstopit:

NR to me just looks like more support for boosting. Griffin adept is a target for voymir, and coen if boosted by 1 would boost all of the adepts if they are still at base power.

So far SK is bloodthirst damage and self damage

Griffin Adept - Could be interesting, but i'm afraid we'll just get another swarm and boost archetipe.
Viper Adept - Meh.
Cat Witcher - This one is pretty scary, love it!

I think NR will get support for either shield archetipe or swarm, or maybe both. SK looks like mix of Bloodthirst and Berserk/Self-wound.

Haven't seen anything for MO yet, but I would love if they got weather support again. Still miss my old fog deck. Or even bring in the Vodyanoi.
