Or some busty Polish babe to be a pr person for CDPR. Ok, seriously, I miss Gop and it seems important that they have someone to promote the game after its release as well as before. Yet still they haven't replaced him.

Tomasz Gop used to work for CDPR, and was heavily involved in the marketing in the media and general PR business (also held the title of senior producer, I believe). That's why many people associate him with The Witcher's and CDPR's face outwards, and I admit it feels a bit empty since he resignated; he left the company in June, sometime, I think.

He was the man in the interviews describing TW2 before it came out. He left CDPR to find a job with regular hours.

Sure, Tomasz Gop is this guy here

He used to be the marketing guy representing CDP. You couldn't have missed him in one of the hundreds presentation he made for TW2: conferences with GOG, E3 conferences, Games Con etc.

Furthermore, he gave his face to Count de Wett in Tw1

Of course I know him, you're right, I've seen him in many videos. And you're right again, to me HE was the face of CDPR.

He was great, I've never seen anyone better in this (I don't watch many game interviews, though).
But The Witcher 3 isn't coming anytime soon, so he deserves a rest He took his job very seriously, and unlike most people in gaming, he did love games. The industry needs more people like him! It was always nice watching his presentations

I had never seen that "Witcher: misterious secrets" video before. A riot.

Of course, I miss him too. The important part to know is that he made that decision to improve his quality of life. Im sure he'll be great as he's gifted with talent and enthusiasm.

This thread could become a "Maese Tomasz appreciation thread", I guess.

Having said that, anybody that has worked in a collective effort knows that nobody is irreplaceable. With a little of luck CDP RED will be able to find smbdy that can fill in Tomasz shoes...

And who knows, maybe in a couple of years Tom will join back in to do PR for Witcher 3...?
