I'd love to play poker (not Texas holdem) and pinball minigames, but it's not really a must have for me, and it should be made optional, anyway, so 2 and 9.

I'd rather have something unique akin to Gwent. Not interested in generic shit like pool, poker, roulette.

Not a puzzle fan at all, and I dont want CP Gwent. CDPR should have us find an old arcade and we can play a few 90's era games reminiscent of old hack and slash or shmups. Another idea would be a kind active target shooting on the outskirts of town.

I really like the idea of target shooting , it would help in game as well.

I really like the yakuza series and how they do mini games.

But how Gta does minigames like races, murder mazes, puzzles.

Survival games like rpgs vs super cars where there two teams or car darts. It just really fun.

I think people are misunderstanding option #1.

It's not literally "Gwent, but CP." It's "A minigame as fleshed out as Gwent, but Cyberpunk-themed."

Could be literally anything. Maybe some fancy hacking competition where you build up programs to deploy against a competitor (or multiple) in a semi-structured way. I'd like that, because I know it would have the same thought and attention to detail that Gwent had (yes, it had its flaws, but it was a minigame that is now a standalone title - that says something).

Barring something like that, I'd honestly just like to have "Activities" throughout the city. Whether those come in the form of minigames or not is not really my concern. Anything that breathes life into the world and lets you roleplay. Drink in the bars. Sit in chairs (GASP!). Street race. Play blackjack in a casino. Play an arcade machine or two. Sleep. Go clothes shopping.

I assume CP will need to be played online for this... but when you play in an arcade and you have a highscore on one of the games.. you get street cred for it. or a bonus on agility or something like that :)

but the bonus will lower the lower your ranking will be.
BUT!! wil have a higher impact on npc's that love to play arcade to.

1 and 9 are easy picks for me. Not sure if 9 and 10 contradict. As for 2, if the card game '13' was included it would be a first. It's an Asian card game that doesn't get featured in western titles often if at all.

Something like what I've scetched here under "skilltests" is what I'd like to see for minigames outside gambling. No simple gated checks (unless according to 2020 rules), no conventional minigames (like Fallout lockpicking). Something more. Something better.

Gambling can work as it would as a "normal" minigame would based purely on luck, but I would appreciate a skill that would help in cheating or spotting a cheat, and perhaps even highlighting suggested moves at certain point.
