I don't know... I think CDProjektRed is pretty magical, might surprise us...

Didn't Jackie just one of few companions who going to be in the game and who can go with you on mission? when did he become key part of V story or game story? also his close friendship with V look really forced to a player and now his death for some reason need to be sad and heartbreaking for us why?

I still hope that if we going to have companion 100% of the time with us, that i have full control over him, his build, stats, albilitys and equipment, nothing worst for RPG than a companion who do stuff automatic, and you have limited control over him.

Why do you feel that Jackie felt forced? He seemed like a very good Bro with a yet unknown backstory to me

I don't agree actually. If you are only supposed to play V, there is no reason you can have direct control over any other NPC.
But then of course you should also have the possibility to get rid of him, one way or another...

Just saying that upboat I gave you is because I agree with you, but not about Jackie!

Far to early to say. I mean it’s still early until you actually play the title. But yeah doesn’t bother me the slightest as we’ve yet to establish a relations ship of any kind.

Players already like Silverhand better.

Jackie and Silverhand both my bros. I hope I can gather a large group of allies in the game and they're all as loveable bros as Jackie or Silverhand. (not necessarily all male)

Don't get me wrong, I don't judge. I want the freedom to kill everyone in the whole game, and also the freedom to kill nobody in the entire game.
My one question is, what happens when I'm doing a ZERO-KILL playthrough and I accidentally run someone over while driving? Re-start entire game?

I was actually genuine about what I wrote, I don't want to kill silverhands, but a lot of people in the game will want him dead.
And the reason I want to kill so much people in C2077 is because it's the only "social interraction" which seems to be universally usable in the game.

If, when Jackie calls V "Jaina", V could tell him to shut up and/or to get lost, I would not wants him dead.
If I could either try to make a big impression on Meredith Stout or at least try to avoid his bodyguard grapple, I would not be planning a build specifically to murder them when it will happens.
Violence is the way I use in game when I cannot persuade people, and the game doesn't have social stats, so I rely on what's here.

Seems like best friends just saying like "hey bro" or "hey sis" you know? As for who V is supposed to be, I think they will be many different things to many different people, depending on where he or she is and who he or she is speaking with, and how much experience/how smart/how powerful he or she is. I don't think killing is the only language that can be used. There are many ways in the CyberPunk2077 universe to convince people to understand your point of view.

Fact is, to convince an NPC, you need that the dev' wants him to be convinced, while normally you won't need the dev' approval to shoot someone.

I'm confused, where are you getting your information from? Did CDPR confirm humanity setting got removed from the game? Maybe I can fully mod myself with no limits and no cyberpsychosis now? Interesting... If true.

No. There's now a simple slot limit for cyberware, and I think I heard it too that there's no humanity anymore. At least not up to it leading to cyberpsychosis.

Oh okay. I mean, the humanity thing always sounded silly to me because I figured it was up to myself to decide if I have a soul or not, regardless of if I'm a ghost driving a flesh machine, or if I'm a ghost driving a metal/plastic machine. But I still don't like the slot limit because I feel that it will limit me from choosing all the best upgrades in the entire game combined into one character. I want it allllllllll

I am totally with you on this , in the Demo V had not problem with Jackie speaking to her like that . With him using his Spanish and V shortening his name to Jack tells me of a close relationship .

Exactly, and the way he said "I'm Sorrrryyyyy" when he dies are all evidence to me that they were extremely close. Maybe even possibly distantly related cousins or orphans that grew up together? Best friends at the very least, lovers at most? I notice that a lot of people fail to make that connection. No offense, I just think they didn't observe and therefor didn't notice what you and I did. It's amazing how much effort and depth CDProjektRed is passionately brewing into their dream game, and also our dream game.

I am sure CDPR will give us a great story as how / why V and Jackie meet . I love your " orphans that grew up together " , maybe they watched each others back since they were kids .
