seeing that no-one (yourself included) can be arsed o welcome new people even if they bother saying hello, i'm not surprised.

Hi there, i'm totally new to the whole Witcher series. I got Witcher 3 when i bought a new GPU and well i like it, so i bought the other two game too. Never played any RPG's before, just Flight sims and the Silent Hunter series. Well, next step is to buy the Books. :)

That is quite a transition indeed. Then welcome not only to the Forums, and The Witcher, but also to the broader world of gaming!

To sad, that the game has no soundtrack like this, but hey, you can't have everything. :D ;)

Hello, forum veterans! Apologies if this has been asked already, but what is the proper etiquette regarding the giving of Thanks and REDpoints on these forums? For example, what would be a situation in which it would be appropriate to click "Thank for this post," but inappropriate to click "Give REDpoint," and vice versa? Or is a "thanks" and a "REDpoint" essentially the same thing, and if so, do most people always give both rather than choosing one over the other? I did find some info about it this thread, but nothing seemed definitive:

Anyway, thanks in advance for any clarification!

Hi, one more Witcher fan is here... played the first game twice, read a little of books, the rest weren't translated to English, played second game also twice, read more books...in the meantime forgotten about Witcher and then 3rd game hits me, playing it now for second time and enjoying the books...simultaneously.

Big thanks to those fans who translated the books, excellent work

REDpoints display under your username at all times, permanently, I like to think of them as a sort of "reputation bar".
Thanks don't display anywhere except for the post you thanked.

So I guess it all depends whether or not you find a post good or very good, I guess. :)

Hi All!
I’m in love with the Witcher. I've read the books, played Witcher 3 The Wild Hunt for the first time, which I suppose wasn't a good decision, because I guess I should have started with The Wicher, then continue with the second part of the game and end up with the final one, but... well... I was so in love with the game itself that I just couldn't stop playing. During one weekend I spent 28 hours playing the game and although I felt physically sick the next day, it was so worth it! Anyway, totally love the game, the mystical world and I am really happy to be here... in a place where people finally understand me :)
