All too true. I was introduced into the whole underground goth thing by my girlfriend (well, ex-girlfriend now). She used to listen to stuff like The Crow, VNV Nation, Combichrist, Depeche Mode, God Module, that kind of stuff. Not sure if it's all "true" goth music, but that's what she mostly listened anyway. Sometimes we went to goth parties, often underground (sometimes illegal) parties where heavy techno, industrial and rave music was played by bands and DJs. Stuff like Grendel, Amduskia, Unter Null, God Module, etc. etc.Volsung said:

But ever since I broke up with my girlfriend I never visit those parties anymore. I like goth music, but in the end I'm not a goth myself, instead I'm a true metalhead. Heavy metal is in my blood.
