Who told you that ridiculous notion? There are a ton of games played in China, especially online games.

Certainly games like CoD for instance would be banned because of the violence and all of that, or they would have some content changed, but in a country of 1 billion you can bet a lot of them play games.

Consoles are illegal though. PS3 has just been certified for release in China at least.

I'm just sure we all realize banning consoles doesn't stop people from obtaining them. I'm just surprised there is a game show in China considering their stance on consoles not that I've heard of most of these studios.

And this is a thread by a spambot isn't it?

Well if they were banned world wide companies would stop producing games for them and that to me would be wonderful indeed.

As for those companies, considering the population China has it's own developers so that's probably who those guys are.

And yes it is a spam bot.

Interesting, is that a kind of Asian E3 ?

Hopefully that Guangzhou Game Show will make some competition with the TGS :p/>. I'm asking questions, but if it's a spambot I doubt any answer will come haha.

The gaming industry can find opportunities in China and I can't wait to see what type of games will rise out of that new market.

Do you guys have any IDEA how damaging it is to the psyches of moderators when you respond to spambots as though they're actual people? It breaks our programming.

I should think so. It causes a logic overload which makes our banhammers overheat and explode in a shower of pastel-coloured sparkles.

(And I noticed that Namco Bandai is listed as an exhibitor. So this is a good thing, right?)

Well I think answers to flood bots, as they can't be commented, should be taken as questions for people that are interested in the topic :p/>.

For namco bandai presence, it's a good sign for Japanese gaming industry and ... for dark souls' casual -of course- fans :)/>. Good luck with your banning sparkles, its always a good way for getting respected haha.
