Iorveth playing those songs just makes him seem like a total badass, especially Skyfall, the Shire theme, and 'He's a Pirate'. And nice touch throwing in 'My Heart Will Go On' there at the end (is he playing it for Saskia?). :p

Kudos Вал! Your awesomeness and creativity knows no bounds.

@Princess_Ciri is going to love you for this.

I must say, i am impressed.
Watched\listened to it more than once...need to download it for future use.

Alright, weekend is here, but i'm not yet free....need to go to the training session, after that freedom for couple of days.
Had an exam today...physics, technical mechanics , finished first and went on my way...it was easy....but i stayed in class a bit longer to check myself, but suddenly every student in class texts me, for answers...the teacher leaves class for a sec (very stupid if you ask me...), suddenly every student gets up and starts asking me question...at least i'm useful...of course i could be an ass and not help them at all...but...in the end when we will reach the finals the true results will appear. After all the teacher left just so they could have this chance on purpose.
Sometimes solving the problem yourself is the most fun part of the job...and that's why it was so easy, because me and my friend we studied the subject ourselves...did every task in our own way....which gave us the tools to do this. unlike the others who waited for the teacher to do the job for them. pity....
Oh well, the day started nicely, lets finish it the same way ^^.

Speaking about teacher, do we have an Italian teacher here? I must learn how to speak Italian, and right now I know nothing

In my Japanese listening class today I saw this amusing (although perhaps also slightly sad) video about 婚活 (konkatsu), which is a thing in Japan where adults who want to get married organise parties with total strangers, and then at these parties they try to find someone they want to marry.

To me it seemed like a very bizarre thing to do - especially because now in Japan there are also 婚活 classes that are meant to teach people how to appear attractive when attending these 婚活 parties. To the extent where you have Japanese men learning how to walk and sit in the "right way" and what clothes they should wear.
And of course you have the issue that Japanese men and women want different things from marriage. According to the video, most Japanese women want to become full time house wives, whereas the men want their wives to also work, since otherwise it puts too much pressure on them (understandably so).

It made me wonder, is this a thing done in countries outside of Japan? In the UK we don't really have these 婚活 parties, and I'd say the closest thing is probably online dating although I feel like that's sometimes more focused on hooking up than marriage.

There was a TV-show here in Hungary, that was similar, but in the show's case it's different because they get to know each other in a few weeks, not just on one party. Some celebs who are single and want to get married, get to know like 10 women, and at the end they get to choose the woman they like the most and marry her. The show's not on anymore thankfully, it was really stupid I think.

Edit - I was wondering, is it true that there are so many different symbols/ signs in the Japanese alphabet, that they learn it for like 4 years?

More than that! Japanese kids start learning the hiragana and katakana in their first year of school and then continue to study kanji up until high school, i think? I mean technically they never stop because before exams they have to go over the kanji they'll need for that particular exam. So for a science exam they have to make sure they know the kanji for oxygen or photosynthesis. And then for a geography exam they have to study the terminology you'd need for that. It's a never ending process with kanji.

And yeah that sounds bad... You can't get to know someone on a reality tv show - also why would you marry them right after? Surely it would make sense to live with the person for a couple of years and then decide? People's rush to get married is probably what leads to so many couples getting divorced.

Oh wow! Japanese is definitely one of the hardest languages. I have a classmate who is trying to learn it all by herself, no teachers or anything, but she just loves it.

Oh most of those did end up like that I'm pretty sure.. just simply stupid reality shows.
