Do you have access to a freezer? I use a slow cooker a LOT, and cheap meat actually works better than the expensive stuff. Just throw everything in, with a lot of vegetables and an interesting sauce, leave it cooking all day. You can cook enough for about four or five meals easily, eat what you want, freeze the rest. A week's food for about 30 minutes work.

Heh yeah, I do that sometimes. Mostly with soup. And then I have bricks of soup. Not that appetizing but it does the job, once I unfreeze them.

But you know, it doesn't "feel" healthy either. :p

Don't know if any of you guys are into Game of Thrones, but anyone seen the season 5 trailer? I think it looks pretty good, and I just got the "A Feast for Crows" so this will be the first time I'll read the book before seeing the season.

Missandei and Grey Worm having a romance? :D

A Feast for Crows is the 4th book right? That was the book that killed my interest in the TV show and books lol it was so boring. Half of the characters in that book don't make it into the TV series (so basically we know they're irrelevant) and sooo many of the POV chapters are boring and repetitive.

But yeah, enjoy your book :p

Watch Season 3, all hell breaks loose.

That's the problem: I can't watch it as I absolutely despise all the characters. They are all a bunch of idiots fighting for very poor reasons and the story just doesn't move on in my opinion. It just stops and gets boring fast. I just think that the gates up at The Wall should just be opened and let the White Walkers have them! :wallbash:

Ah damn, a friend of mine told me that this book wasn't as good as the others before or the one after! Well this is a good start.. lol. Damn it you ruined it! Nah I'm joking, I'll see how it is, I'm reading The Last Wish and then The Sword of Destiny anyway, so it can wait :D And anyways, the series always does a good job with the boring parts too, so I think it'll be allright.

I lost interest in Game of Thrones in the middle of season 2...

You missed the good stuff. Things get really exciting from season 3 on, and especially season 4, that's the one that got the highest ratings too.

It just got rapidly boring and I just hated the characters, they all had the charisma of a wet paper bag.

That Gotham show is epitome of Hollywood drama.

It reminds me of last two seasons of Arrow.
Don't know what happened with that show [Arrow], it was great in a first season, good in the second and then total shit later.

Still not as bad as that Agents of SHIELD show. Ugh, so horrible.

But yeah, let's move show discussions in the Movies/Shows thread. :)

I'm REALLY going to have to get around to watching Arrow one of these days.

@Kinley

I actually find Agents of SHIELD to be pretty much hit and miss: One week it's good, the next just mediocre.

I've watched a couple of episodes of Gotham.. and it was enough. Though I think I was expecting a lot after Chirstopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy which is a masterpiece, so it was kinda a let down. I still need to watch Arrow's 2nd season, the first I really liked.
