Lol well I hope that you enjoy it more than I did. For me the book wasn't fun because I was waiting for my favourite characters to turn up and they never did. The book kind of make me aware of all of the issues GRRM's writing has, and because of that I couldn't enjoy the 5th one either ¬_¬

Yeah now that you mentioned it, I flipped through some pages and noticed there is neither Daenerys, nor Jon Snow in it.. 2 of my favorites.
Edit - no TYRION.. *smashes a plate at the wall*

FfC and DwD are planed as one book, but GRRM separated them for some reason...
But yeah, that is one of the reasons why FfC is considered as worst book in the series...People waited 5 years for it, so reactions like "No Mother of dragons, Breaker of chains etc etc...? No Jon Snow? No Tyrion? What the fuck, George !?!?!" were normal...

That's a good saying indeed haha.
No problems then, italian version of Storm of Swords has 1200 pages, and it's always a weight issue when I put it in my bag, so I'm kinda used to it.

For those interested, Katerina Plotnikova, Russian photographer. She made a road trip across Russia "relying on the kindness of strangers" and took many shots with wild animals as subjects. The bear pictures are a real bear, not photoshopped, though she did take an animal trainer along. She publishes on Facebook, Katerina Plotnikova Photography
