I just finished reading The Sword of Destiny.. Oh my, it's an amazing book. How Ciri meets Geralt in the end again.. very nice. Good to finally understand who she is. I enjoyed this book a lot. Next up, Blood of Elves

Yeah pretty fine. I just got the news today that I passed the written part of Math and now I gotta do the oral part (hey don't think bad).
And then, I've just got another exam to do, both written and oral.

Days of fire await me... but it's okay, Predators like it hot hehehe...

That's how academic deadlines (or deadlines in general?) work, isn't it? Crunchtime, some critical failure, panic, just-in-time finish with a good result but not quite as you had wished/expected. At least I don't know it any other way.

Time to grab your favorite beverage and binge-watch/play something awesome as a reward!

Kind of, yes, but this time I was careful enough to "finish" my paper around 12 hours before the deadline. It just happened that I rechecked everything because I'm OCD and found that one, really serious problem. I still have/had work to do today but I'll definitely relax this weekend

Professional 3D artists usually know something about using clusters. In big projects (think major commercial films with animation like Avatar and etc.) they can use them quite a lot. So I guess they might have some courses on that subject while they learn too?

Well that's large companies, which I'm sure have entire technical teams running their computing infrastructure. What I had in mind are students and university labs.

I watched what I thought was a sweet Edwardian-era romance movie yesterday. Turned out it had a horrifically tragic ending and I'm still feeling heartbroken from it. Still it was based on a true story, so I suppose at least I'm not the one who had to live through it. Poor Jane Austen.
