Heads, I presume.Some beads attached to a tree, for counting... something, I presume.
I won't tell you to stop or anything but personally yes, I do think that shooting animals (even ones you consider vermin) is cruel. Crows, magpies and pigeons are very intelligent birds and I think if, in the case of preventing diseases, they have to be culled, it should be decided by wildlife experts, not someone who considers shooting animals their "hobby."I'm just interested in military history, hunting and live action wargaming, is that really wrong? That's just my interests.
@Princess_Ciri @wichat
I can understand why you may hate what I'm involved with, but it's a common hobby over here, and I have never harmed a single person or animal except what's classed as vermin (Rats, Magpies, Crows and Pigeons), there's just too many of these things and they carry a lot of diseases which can infect other animals. Culling them is the only way to protect animals like chickens, horses, cows, red squirrels and sheep.

Same here.I am perfectly happy to do that![]()
I am not. Princess Ciri, subdue Alan in a non violent, bird friendly way! Alan, go get your hunting equipment and... ah nevermind.I am perfectly happy to do that![]()
Lol. Actually I do not enjoy arguing/discussing with people about stuff like this. When you have a situation where both sides are quite likely to be upset/offended and there is no objectively right answer, I think it is better to just agree to disagree.@Princess_Ciri A reasonable and humble statement of opinion? Where are you world domination plans? Is this a new subversive tactic?
Be careful not to encourage fighting or one of the mods might put you on the naughty step.I am not. Princess Ciri, subdue Alan in a non violent, bird friendly way! Alan, go get your hunting equipment and... ah nevermind.
Don't see why. This is a community built around a ROLE-PLAYING game.Be careful not to encourage fighting or one of the mods might put you on the naughty step.

I am pretending to be a sane human and not a pigeon and you?
Well, in my case, it's because I like suffering. Other people's suffering. So, yeah, any excuse! Encouraging conflict, wearing underwear on the outside of your pants, liking DnD (one of these days Reptile won't be a mod and then I will have him!), preferring Ciri to Geralt, whatever.Don't see why. There is no such thing as a naughty step. Steps are things. Only people are naughty.Be careful not to encourage fighting or one of the mods might put you on the naughty step.
You flap at them. The good old wing-buffetting.I'm still trying to figure how you subdue someone in a non-violent bird friendly way. Bury them in feathers? Threaten to bury them in feathers? Gesticulate determinedly with your beak?
It's a very tough call to make, at least it would be in my case. Wait, no - I wouldn't be able to hurt any small creature. The reason I asked Alan about hunting was partially because my family used to have this small piece of land out of town, where we'd plant vegetables and fruits to sustain us through the year. As you can imagine, animals like rabbits and crows and mice played a certain role in this - it's disheartening coming to your tomato patch just to discover all of the ripe ones have holes poked in (thanks, crows). Child me did cry for every mouse caught in the trap, and I still find killing animals very cruel. But sometimes it isn't just black and white, and you have to make a decision, or have to deal with a decision 'made' for you.I won't tell you to stop or anything but personally yes, I do think that shooting animals (even ones you consider vermin) is cruel. I don't know about that, sometimes I think there are particular steps that I trip on more frequently than the others, which might make them a naughty step.There is no such thing as a naughty step. Steps are things. Only people are naughty.
We do, however, have a very bad-tempered cellar.
Wait there are people who prefer Geralt to Ciri? Haha, next you will be telling me there are people in these forums who don't love my gifs.preferring Ciri to Geralt
