It definitely ended any sense of "Environmentally conscious people shouldn't kill spiders". They can live out long and happy lives outdoors if they want, but if they invade my house, they're dead.

My attitude precisely. While I try to respect the rights of most living things to live, if they enter the house, ants and spiders receive no mercy.
