Grrrr.... my stupid stupid husband preordered the witcher 3 for me because he found out that i am secretly hyping for it. He just told me. First i was like wohoooo and then i asked him to give me the key, so i can start preloading. Then he told me he got it like super cheap from Green Man Gaming a few days ago, but they didn't have started to distribute the keys yet. Also that Green Man Gaming is known for giving out keys a few hours before release. I almost rage-quitted my relationship. But then i remembered he should not think i am reeeeaaallly hyped for this game (i am 27, i should be too old for hype-train rides). but OFC i am. And you know what? Every day i delete the browser history on our server in the living room (we don't have a TV but a server connected to a projector) after visiting the forums, youtube and such. So i am wondering how he found out that i want this game so much? Then i remembered the conversations we had past days and noticed
- he ranted about people streaming games that are not out yet and said he likes twitch because they ban such things
- he has lost every interest in games he used to play and complains about being bored
- he complains about the finals starting in about 2 weeks and having not enoug free time to play videogames - same time he tells me that he is bored because he has "nothing to play"
conclusion: now i think HE is secretly hyping for this game too. He preordered it so he can play it too.
now if Green Man Gaming wouldn't be shitty and selling keys of "unknown source", id be very happy.
