Ach! Quite a few unfamiliar new characters on the Forum lately, and so many of them just want to talk about graphics! The Wild Hunt seems to really be bringing them in, now -- in droves. It's getting hard to keep up with the number of new threads. When I come back from playing for a while, I'll hardly be able to recognise the old place.

I rarely post on any kind of forums and mostly just browse through the topics not even logged in. But now the forums look just sad to me.
Its almost as the openning of the Cyberpunk forum. Funny that no one from the old community and also fans that sticked to the Witcher series from the start are not bothered by any of the Graphic controversy. Story, well written characters, interesting quests, and moral choices with consequences are where its at, This is where the witcher series shines. If the W3 will suck in these aspects, then one can go and hate on the game, because this is for most of the people the core of the gameplay,
It would really interest me what kind of person/adult even has time to go around openning new threads with the same content, also creating alter profiles just to hate on something, that is basically just the cherry on the top of the cake.
By my standards, the first Witcher is still the definitive Witcher experience for me. Yeah for some it had wonky controls or the Graphics werent up to their standards. But for me It was the monster hunting, and the behaviour of monsters depending on the time of the day that also adjusted the difficulty that I fell in love with. I hope to see the same from W3.

Did anyone see Conan O'Brien playing TW3 on XBone? It was slightly embarrassing, with lots of name butchering but also with the funny, boyish, immature humor that is now expected of Conan. Pretty much made the game look like there's some killing in between sex scenes. Now my wife thinks the game is all pervy.
Oh and I'm having second thoughts about the CE, again. It's such a massive, ridiculous box.

Anyway, I'm about to get nuts when I see those countdown timers everywhere. Yeah, it's nice TW3 will be out in 2 days and somewhat 14 hours. But that also means my history exam will be in 2 days and somewhat 14 hours. And I have still Hitler and the Nazi time and divided Germany to go. Which is interesting to me, but tons of material, and I have like no motivation to learn anything at all (but hey! I already did the Industrial revolution, the German revolution of March 1848, Bismarck and the Kaiserreich, WWI and the revolution in November 1919 and the Weimarer republic! I've already done something!)

It's weird how everything that kept you entertained over the past year tends to become utterly boring when you're waiting for some game to come out.
