I've been "hunting" for a job like mad. And it seems I've finally found something I'm interested in and also pays alright! ... I think I'll take it, it's a place to start :D

Congratulations! A new job or position always makes me feel a little nervous but very excited! I hope you really like it! Especially after searching for so long. Searching is very nerve wrecking, at least for me.

Punched my brother in the face, tied him to a chair in the basement without food, and commandeered his PC.

Thanks! Oh definitely, I was a little stressed out that I won't find anything, but then I found this, so it turned out ok :D

Hey there.
I haven't been around much, since I've been "hunting" for a job like mad. And it seems I've finally found something I'm interested in and also pays alright! I'll be talking in english mostly there, which is a really huge positive thing for me. The job is related to logistics basically, I have to make calls and make sure the car gets the cargo where it's supposed to in time, planning the routes for it in the office.
I've just been on a day where they show me all I will have to do, and will call me later and ask if I'm interested in it or not. And I actually thought it's good, if a little complicated, but they said anyone can get into it in a month or two. So I think I'll take it, it's a place to start :D

Congratulations!

I started my new job last week, and although at the beginning I understood nothing, I am quickly picking things up and I think I even sound like I know what I'm talking about :p
I'm sure you'll be the same :)

Thank you!

Haha, ok, I was wondering if it was just me who didn't understand half of what I saw haha. But they told me I'd get into it really well in a month or two, and seeing you had the same, it gives me some hope that I'll be alright :)

I´ll tag along and congratulate @Eddard20 for his new job! It´s great that it doesn´t just pay alright, but that you also find it interesting!

I´m actually considering a job change myself. Had an interview last Monday, and I´ll have another later today. It´s better money, but quite a big field change...
Let´s see what comes up!

So I got back home today, saw my parents and my brother and sister. Punched my brother in the face, tied him to a chair in the basement without food, and commandeered his PC.

Time to play some Witcher 3.

Haha nice! Have fun!

I learnt a funny Japanese saying today
泣きっ面に蜂 naki ttsura ni hachi = bees in a crying face

which, as an English equivalent would be 'when it rains, it pours' or 'to add insult to injury'

And another one my flatmate loves to tell me
豆腐の角に、頭をぶつけて死んじまえ (toufu no tsuno ni atama wo butsukete shinjimae) = smash your head against a corner of tofu and die
