@AL890; Belfast, and I'm also glad to see more people from our neck of the woods on here

Last time I was in Dungannon it was a very pretty town, although that was prior to the latest banking crisis, and there are
still shops closing in this city too, we are yet to see any evidence that the financial troubles are over... perhaps the gold rush in the Sperrins will improve things in Tyrone, hopefully without destroying our natural heritage, because it's a beautiful county.
@knightofphoenix; Gush away my friend, I know from experience that the adage concerning being obsessed with your topic at that level of study is really an axiom, it's the necessary path to success. How do you feel about the content you're currently presented with? I'm aware there are
concerns over modern economics teaching, and anyone who's tried to understand the recent crash knows the links between universities, research and the financial institutions were a large part of the problem (that feckwit who initially approved & retroactively rewrote Icelands financial stability comes to mind). Likewise I'm aware of the impending troubles over the Arctic, definitely an intriguing & timely topic you've got there ! Anyone with an avid interest in history, not simply current affairs, knows
major conflicts could return to our world, and there yet remains the risk of rampant nationalism & fascism rising... as a global society we are
not learning the lessons of the past.
btw: Loved the original Wargame, best RTS strategy game in years imo, just picked up AoW3 yesterday (though its TBS), will be installing later.
@Csàszàr; hehe I will, I try to chat with travellers whenever I can, especially backpackers, and I don't think we here are guilty of "tourist tax", it's not an issue that ever seems to come up. Hope he stays away from our ridiculous "disaster tourism" though, it's a fecking embarrassment.
@dragonbird; I love the look of your country, my eye is first drawn to that lovely building on the hill... a Temple perhaps? But it's probably the unusual cut of the foliage that pleases me most, and it initially conceals the less attractive walls & wires
Time to go out for a dander
