Great video @
wichat!
I love wolves, but where I come from wolves have had a very fearsome reputation going as far back as the 13-14th century. Indeed there are many old reports of children being killed and eaten, especially during the 19th century. Whether all true, or some, or none it led to the wolf being hunted to near extinction in my country. In fact(according to the info I found), some studies of wolf genes yielded that the wolves that are around here today aren't descended from the ones that roamed the countryside way back when, but have migrated here from other countries.
Now I know that the wolf is a very stealthy animal, very wary of humans. But animal attacks happen of course, not so much on humans as on livestock. Farmers are very tired of seeing constant attacks on sheep, that it has become a very inflamed debate in my country, and still is to this day. If there's an attack on livestock farmers want to hunt wolf, and if they are allowed, animal organisations protest. It's the ever constant issue of human civilisation spreading, leaving little to no space for nature or wildlife.
So seeing this video, the positive changes to nature that was good for the land and animal diversity, and the balance being kept, was a fresh perspective I needed to see.
You deserve all REDpoints you can get. Thank you! ^_^
