So I'm guessing no one said the holy words "You fight like a cow!" then? What a shame.

Welcome back, my friend~

How was your trip to see your family in Poland ?
I hope you enjoyed all of the local cuisine and had lots of fun !

Oh and don't worry... I'm not in Wroclaw, although I'm still considering getting that autograph.
It would be the crowning item in my Ciri collection. Next to the prized combat bra.

And yes, I had a wonderful time on my journeys - especially in Brussel !

That moment, when you are waking in the morning and your mother tells you that you're a disappointment for the family...then use her words and change them a bit to your dad and then he is becomes prouder...Now all that remains is to make mother proud and make the words that are spoken a reality...

It's always good to reflect and strive to improve, but I would advise doing so for yourself before anyone else. Just keep an exciting goal in mind and you'll reach it before you know it!

Ugh speaking of waking up...

Was having a dream, only part I remember was I was taking applications and one specification was to be Danish.

Then my door bell rings and wakes me up. So much for sleeping in.

I have so much translation homework to do and it's depressing me. I hate translating from English to Japanese SO much. Everything at uni is so difficult at the moment, I feel like my Japanese is so bad T_T If I didn't have Japanese friends to help me I would be doomed

Whoa, are you studying Japanese? That's a pretty hard language! I mean, you look at it... and you have no idea. Congrats!

I gave up learning on three different languages. But screw learning a language where you also have to learn a new script, you got guts.

Technically two, I had no interest learning Spanish in the the first place.

Lol thanks guys. Japanese isn't so hard at the beginning, once you learn the first two alphabets, but the third one is really difficult and the more Japanese you learn, the harder it gets I swear.

But i'm glad I have no thermo-dynamic oojamaflicks to worry about.

I understand a couple of simple japanese phrases when I hear them watching anime, but that's about it. And I know, anime is not a good way to learn Japanese at all, or so the majority says. Also, I'm not trying to learn it, I just pick it up.

Anime isn't good if it's your only means of learning Japanese. In reality, Japanese people hardly (if ever) speak like they do in shonen anime. For slice of life anime they're more realistic, but nobody talks like the characters from Naruto or One Piece, for example.

But that doesn't mean to say you can't learn useful things from it. When I watch anime I learn useful things from time to time. And I'm sure if you can say a few Japanese phrases from anime, it will make Japanese people laugh (in a good way).

Well it's silly if you use random phrases to anybody. Since japanese people have a distinct way of addressing people. You'd use different words that mean the same thing if it's to a younger or older person. A female or a male, etc. It's a matter of how you address people from what I learned. Using words you picked up from anime would sound pretty weird if it's not the right time, place or person or the way you should speak. Still, I wonder why they don't speak like they speak in anime. I mean it's japanese right? It's not like they invented a whole new japanese language just for the sake of having an animation language?
