What 1.05 broke, things not fixed, suggestions.

Bugs, Broken, & Annoying
Alchemy & Crafting -
Broke Mutagen & Alchohol combines - You now get the error message 'You already have this item'
Lower Bomb, Oils, Potions, Crafting recipes Filter radio buttons should be selectable from the main interface instead of hitting extra key for an extra window. Filters setting should remain even after reloading a save.
Glyphs & Runestones - Random items do not work with the crafted recipe.

Gameplay - Bugs
Merchant, Claywich Village - This guy sells some Gwent cards that I can't get because I never got the key to let him out of his cage at the bandit camp. This is a major pain if your a Gwent card collector.
Bandit Camp south of Condyle won't grey out.
Failed Quests - I have Novigrad, Closed City, & The Cave of Dreams both of these I completed. However they reside in my 'Failed' listing. [All objectives are checked off green]
Dirty Funds - Still no letter. Not sure what happened to it. Just stuck in my quest log atm.

Suggestions
I think we all agree that storage is needed badly. I currently have 10k worth of crafting supplies sitting on the ground in front of the master swordsmith. Bank in Novigrad would be a great place.

There are also still some graphical issues, e.g. almost all light sources (torches, braziers, campfires etc. except for the sun) don´t cast shadows when outdoors, which just looks ridiculous, even if it´s for performance reasons, atleast give the people with a good PC the option to enable them.

And I have the impression than for every patch, the game become less optimized. The 1.03 version was perfect for my computer, et now I keep having bug et framerate drop...
I love the game, but now I just don't want to play it anymore.

Im running 2 Asus RoG GTX 980s in SLI mated to a 27inch Benq 1080 Monitor. These graphics look amazing. So good infact that its easily comparable to a CGI Cartoon like Brave. I've experienced no visual graphics detail errors. Lighting is superb, sunsets are surreal and the water is wet.

In regards to the Alchemy and Crafting screen clutter. Are you aware that there are now new filter options?

I like being able to see every recipe I've learned, and they have a filter option to hide the ones you've already made, so I don't think that needs changed. They do need to fix mutagens and alchemy substances from being craft once, and that should really be an immediate hotfix since it messes up a lot of crafting when you can only have one of the substances at a time. The filters will be working properly after that is fixed, as far as I can tell. It would be nice if they changed the draconid oils to all use the same icon as every other oil does instead of the pile of papers icon.

On the topic of reusables, this is probably still an issue that needs fixed- there are some points in the game when you can end up with someone giving you a lower version of bombs and potions, and then it messes up your superior version being slotted and how many uses there are left. Example, I ended up with basic dimeritium bombs when I had the superior (4 use), so I kept slotting them back when it would replace with basic ones (2 use) every time I loaded somewhere. I finally deleted the basic ones (by trying to drop them it gave a confirmation to destroy them). But then when I actually used up all four without meditating, the superior version vanished completely and was just gone (not 0/4 somewhere, just gone entirely from inventory or bomb slots). So it would be great if people can't give you lower versions of potions, oils, or bombs if you have a better one.

Did they fix where if you make enhanced moon dust, it became possible (green) to make basic moon dust. And it was hiding the superior recipe (so preventing making it) while the basic was showing as available to make. I ended up destroying my enhanced moon dust, then making the basic, then enhanced, and then superior showed up. It was still letting me make basic again, though. I didn't have the superior recipe the first time I made the enhanced, so I guess when I acquired it, there was a check and since basic was able to be made it decided superior wasn't ready so it hid? I don't know. Its not showing up as something I can make now (basic moon dust is "you already have this item"), but if they never fixed that then it might come up again when they fix the overall bug with "you already have this item."

---------- Updated at 05:17 AM ----------

It would be great if the alchemy and crafting pages saved the collapsed states of the sections, instead of all being expanded every time (or just all collapse by default if you don't want to save the state). That would fix the OP complaints, and improve the current scrolling nightmare those pages are with having to collapse them all every time.

I had forgotten about the filter. I wonder if 1.05 turned off the option to filter "Already Created".

In any case, thanks for your post, I updated mine.

Good idea to centralize the remaining problems.

You can add 1 quests issues :

Last horse race in Skellige : Svana missing when others quests on the island are done before the race

Objectives can change status later after quests get listed as completed or failed, so being green now doesn't mean they were actually completed/green originally. So it could be either situation going just off that information, but do you actually remember them being completed and then changing to failed? Dandelion's summary should be accurate usually even if the bullet points are wrong, so check if its consistent.

As a side note, failed doesn't always mean "just didn't do in the time allowed" or whatever, it can mean you finished a quest differently than the quest giver wanted you to do it. I have one "failed" quest where I decided to let certain people go instead of kill them and that's what the summary says happened even though its in the "failed" section. That probably isn't applicable to Novigrad, Closed City, which I think auto-fails after one point if not completed first, and I don't remember cave of dreams, but its interesting that failed isn't always a bad thing so I just wanted to bring that up since it seems potentially confusing.

Yes, infact I remember both quests giving the sound and completed. First quest that showed up suddenly failed [Could of been when I updated to 1.04] was Cave of Dreams. Then when I updated to 1.05. Closed City showed up as failed.

I have those two failed as well. Never seen them actually fail. Just loaded my save with the 1.05 and there they were, failed. Both of them.

I feel like a broken record but a bug that still needs fixing is the wet clothes bug, every time you pause the game.

@ OP - understood and agree to your entire post until I got to the bottom, where you mention "make bombs, potions, decotions, & Oils undroppable"

New player, only couple days, so probably just not understanding what the issue is. If the problem is lower grade bombs/pots being confused with superior versions, why would you want to make them NOT droppable? Wouldn't you want the exact reverse - be able to drop them so at least you could get rid of it out of your inventory so you/the auto replacement function in the game wouldn't swap for the wrong one?

Also - again probably because I'm so new - I've so far been unable to make ANY superior version of a potion without losing the old version, and then not being able to make the old version because it is labelled as already have this item. So how do you get in the first place a superior and lower version of a potion/bomb/etc in the first place?

Only mention I saw was you or another poster above said sometimes game just gives you as reward a potion/bomb? Which I assume is lower grade version?

And if so, then again, wouldn't you WANT to be able to drop them then, instead of the ask from your OP which is to make them undroppable?

otally get what the conflict might be if you had superior/lower versions at same time but confused why this solution would help and not make things worse.

My thread indicates a lot of game related issues, I am sure there is loads more. I haven't been keeping it up to date because it seems CD Projekt don't care.

But here's my thread if you want some references to issues: http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/40212-Performance-issues-Broken-gameplay-features?p=1697154#post1697154

Better solution (IMO) would be to just give player the recipe for the bombs and potions and let him craft it. That way, all's cool. If I already obtained the recipe by other means and crafted it, I won't end up with two of the same item (unintended I'm sure).

And here is my own thread http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/42439-List-of-BUGS-encountered-by-me-so-far (advertising!)

Same here. Novigrad: Closed City and Cave of Dreams are now failed, long after I have completed them.
The mutagens thing. Only workaround seems to be to drop whatever you have already crafted on the ground to be able to craft new ones.

And most annoying thing for me atm is the bug with the Glyphs. I have more than 20 lesser glyphs of igni in my inventory, and in the crafting menue it shows 0 if I want to combine them to a higher tier glyph.
I also have two stacks of 2 quen glyphs each in my inventory that I cannot combine into single stack. I the crafting menue it says I have 2 quen glyphs. Tried dropping them and picking them up again but didn´t work. Seems to happen randomly with glyphs and rune stones.

It's not random. There are just two types of Lesser Runestones and Glyphs (hence they won't stack). One is obtained by crafting while the other by buying them or looting them. No idea why.

Comparing to 1.04 I have worse performance with 1.05 on GTX 690 and latest NVidia drivers. Also it seem they changed something in texture loading mechanics, I've got a lot of issues with textures loading too close to Geralt, or in cinematic scenes loading on some objects after a noticeable delay. This was not the case before.
