What about siding with Netwatch/VB/Yorinobu in New Game+ mode?

+
New Game+ could be simple "everything is scaled to level 50" thing but that's not that fun... What about having options in NG+ to alter the story by siding with one of the factions before the heist?

This could allow you to progress rep for that faction, give a vendor selling faction gear and slightly alter which story arcs are available, which are disabled and which are new/changed. Like VB would not care about Hellman but may do Mikoshi if Alt demands it. NetWatch may want full tech so they may want Hellman. Yorinobu may want you to become one of rogue agents when setting up Millitech conflict but also using the relic to find a way to wipe his father from Mikoshi.

This would also give different endings and usually no Johny and dying if visiting Hanako at Embers...

After talking with Evelyn and asking for comments about Dex you notice the fixer has poor credibility and was missing for long, while the customer wants you to betray him not to mention do an Arasaka heist - by a freshman, expendable including the fixer, or even yet the heist is fake and someone needs dead scapegoats?

Example plots:

Netwatch:

  • You want to warn them in favor for a job you dreamed for so you try to contact them via one of Watson safehouses you know they have. You go there, but they are connected and in a stalemate with VB. You help them, they are skeptical but you talk to the head agent - you want to get hired - they want the relic to begin with and if you fail they don't know you...
  • You have Netwatch comlink and netrunners working for you in the hotel. When saka dies they do record it, want some "samples" for credibility reasons and are quite intrigued skimming corporate things. The drone that would attack you stops and NW tells you to jump on it. You do it....
  • They kill Jackie with the drone while making it land with you somewhere away from the hotel. Dex, Evelyn and potentially Judy are also killed by them
  • They are happy but they want full tech so they send you to get Hellman
  • Alt/Mikoshi rather unavailable or available later to destroy Arasaka and their copy of the tech (NUSA or corporate demand)

VB:
  • You bait contact in the net using Evelyn searches. They have the same reaction initially but when you explain few things they get PTSD and Mommy plans that you get relic for them. Placid is instructed to assist you.
  • They do intend to eliminate you after delivery (you don't know that) but the heist goes crazy as it does. VB kung-fu is stronger than Arasaka so they hack the AV on the roof and you fly away... yet Netwatch was watching and want to come in and get the tech while axing VB and you.
  • They attack Placid controlling the AV when it's landing as well as launching attacks against VB network trapping Mommy and others. The local team sent to the landing site is defeated but Jackie gets a headshot while Placid is also hit. Any camera, road system in the city detects you and sends NW strike team vs you so you have to hide..
  • Placid now has to put his life and life of Mommy + others trapped in the net in the hands of Rayon - you have to get to Pacifica avoiding detection, patrols etc. Then help free Mommy, then help Mommy with project Alt...
  • You become VB member. Pacifica under attack by NW and some corporations. Blue Eyes show up to "help" ? ;)
  • Hellman, Judy story arcs not available. Mikoshi likely as well, unless Alt demands you destroy it for her help for VB.

Ok, not against, but if CDPR add a NG+, it would be as a free DLC (like TW3).
I can't imagine that they will change something in the story (add hundreds dialogue lines, register these dialogue lines by hundreds of voice actors... 11 languages availables in the game).
So I imagine it will be like TW3, nothing more :
New Game + (stylized as NEW GAME +) is an unlockable game mode for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It is one of the 16 free DLCs available for the game, released on August 17, 2015. It allows players to restart the game and retain all their gold, abilities and most of their gear, including items stored in your stash. However, you will LOSE all of the following (regardless of where they're stored):
  • Quest items, except for some rather minor ones that you might as well sell when you get the chance.
  • books, both physical copies and their entries in your journal
  • Gwent cards, except for the basic starting Northern Realms deck
  • crafting diagrams, including all witcher school gear diagrams
  • A number of alchemy formulas, however quite a few will remain for potions, bombs and ingredients.
  • Trophies, both ones worn on Roach for status effects and any you may have won and displayed in your house in the Blood and Wine expansion at Corvo Bianco.
  • All map exploration, points of interest, etc.
  • Bestiary entries
  • Character entries

That scope of NG+ would be far too much work for CDPR.

But hypothetically: Netwatch would be a lot of fun. Yourinobu -- no way. I think even V has more sense than to side with Yourinobu, who is pretty much the Devil and Dracula combined into one.

No .... just no.....
If you are not Pacifica born and bred they will use you and then kill you. Placide pretty much says this, if you sided with Netwatch and manage to sneak up to the inner church doors. and listen to the convo before you kill him. Let alone all the suckers throughout Night City stupid enough to work with them
In essence V is a life support system for that biochip, once that is not a concern she is dead. The are not the deal honouring type.

Siding with factions like Militech, Netwatch etc and have content for those is requested for the longest time now and to that I'd say YES.
But I seriously do not get this obsession with NG+.

In my view that aspect remain to make not a sliver of sense, especially in this game.
