Well, I'm restarting the argument because I like fighting.

But I don't care for this topic so I'm choosing a new one.

Coke is better than Pepsi, and if don't think so as well, you're a poophead *rabble rabble rabble*

That's so...hawt.

I don't think every piece of cyberware is reasonable. Every piece from the base book, though?

Would you like to see solid stuff from the PnP or do you think CDPR will high-grade and pick the best? Given the Whippet, I'd say high-grade, but again, what number of cybernetic enhancements seems reasonable to you?

I would be happy with, hmm. Say five enhancements for each sense and...10 per limb, torso and skull...20 bioware thingies..what is that?

105 pieces of individual cyberware.

Lets see...

Cyber optic: with a variety of styles of different eyes... normal ones in the popular colors, robotic looking ones, big wonky goggle looking eyes, etc...

Thermograph, Low-Lite, IR, UV, Tele-optics, Image Enhancement, Anti-Dazzle, targeting scope, times square marquee... and with the inclusion of techs and medtechs, Micro-Options might be necessary as well. Granted you could probably reduce the night vision options to Low-Lite and Therm....

Audio - styles should include normal looking ears, metal ears, antenna looking things, etc...

Enhanced Hearing, Level Dampener,

Nose: styles include regular looking nose, metal nose, metal box, etc...

Olfactory boost, nasal filter,

Mouth: normal, metallic mandible, metal plate, etc...

Loudspeaker option, Voice changer, mastoid communicator,

Arms: wide variety of styles and colors, from normal looking realskin covered limbs to metallic and plastic limbs in a variety of styles and colors.

Enhanced Myomar, hydraulic pistons, (you can choose one or the other) weapons (pop-up guns, tasers, wolvers, rippers, missile launcher, etc...), built in cyberdeck, grapplefist (yeah it's unlikely but damn I want it), Tool hand, medical tool hand, armor plating

Legs : same as with arms

Enhanced Myomar, hydraulic pistons, speeding bullet/corvette cyberlegs (must be bought in pairs), armor plating

Organs and Implants: These are internal, so it doesn't really matter what they look like

Pace setter heart, Decentralized heart, cyber liver, Cyberlungs with additional air supply, subdermal pocket, subdermal armor (can't be used with skinweave, only covers torso and skullcap), pain editor, radar/sonar, bio-monitor, autodoc,

Neuralwear basic unit is pretty much unseen, but you can pick your plugs and place them where you like ideally...

Universal Smartlink, Braindance recorder link, Chipware socket, speedware (both kerensikov and sandevistan), boostmaster,

Nanotech/bioware: again invisible

Basic Skinweave, enhanced anti-bodies, Nanosurgeons, toxin binders, muscle and bone lace, grafted muscle,

Other:
Light tattoos,

Full Conversion Bodies:
Gemini, Alpha (with cosmetic options available), and possibly role specific bodies like the Enforcer for Cops, or the Wiseman for Netrunners.

These are the things I think are necessary. There is other stuff I wouldn't mind seeing, but this is my base minimum for what I want to be present.

I know people want some of the weirder stuff too, but for me having a solid normal baseline is the most important thing, everything else is just a welcome addition. The only thing that really requires a separate difficult visual mechanic to implement I am asking for is the grapplefist, and as much as I want it, I do not expect it to appear.

I would like the kind of cybernetics which are just fun and inherently unique to the world of CP2020, i.e. I shouldn't be able to get them in any other cyberpunk game.

I would rather see Grapplefist with appropriate gameplay options than FBC!!!! At least for PCs.

Of course, FBC don't require separate gameplay altogether, so I agree we're more likely to see FBCs. Siiiiigh.

On the other hand..Dragoon with 4 x minigun arms!!

Dragoon is doubtful... no one can take that kind of EMP loss and remain a viable character anyway...

....HARDENED! ( hmm..that came across as more erotic than planned).

I think the Dragoon -does- come with hardening? You should see the list of crap that thing packs. Yes, Yes, ACPA has more armour and guns, but Dragoons can do nearly everything..and still fit inside doors!

They even have stealth! It's great!

Oh, well then, you know, i'm gonna use one of those things they put in game to resolve balancing issues.... Anti-hardened EMP destruction device.. An EMP device especially designed to work on hardened people whose name is Sard.. Hell yes.

Actively disarm weeflerunners as they pull their piece. Smack the huge guy sitting next to the corp while you're thirty feet away. Play havoc with metal detectors and MFD screens before you get close...clothesline fools who think they can chase you down alleyways on bikes...

So damn many things.

See, my only argument against the Grapplefist is that you'd have to build in a whole other set of game mechanics. It'd kind of turn it into Just Cause 3, imo, built around this one piece of cyberware.

Unless, of course, they only decide to build in limited functionality (reaching high places for climbing, and such,) which would then make some people *coughSARDcough* unhappy. And that's IF they decide to include the Grapplefist at all.

This pic, over in the Cyberpunk cosplay thread in Off Topic got me wondering. Will we be able to get cyberlimbs TOTALLY disproportionate to the rest of our character? I don't necessarily mean the Boris / surplus Soviet cyberware (though, I want that, too...) but a skinny cyberarm for an otherwise muscular, athletic person, or big, "muscular" cyberlegs for someone otherwise skinny?

I figure that they might use various sliders for your character's build / physical appearance. For a given piece of Cyberware, I'd expect there to be similar top-end / bottom-end sliders, to make a piece of cyberware "skinny or muscular" to taste. I think that for any 'ware that doesn't automatically default to gigantic (Boris / surplus Soviet,) it should default to the scale of your character model, and should be adjustable from there.
